The first stop on the tour is Sabugueiro, the highest inhabited village in Portugal, situated at 1050 meters above sea level. Visitors can explore the town and learn about one of the oldest Portuguese shepherd dog breeds, the Serra da Estrela Dog.

The first stop on the tour is Sabugueiro, the highest inhabited village in Portugal, situated at 1050 meters above sea level. Visitors can explore the town and learn about one of the oldest Portuguese shepherd dog breeds, the Serra da Estrela Dog.
The journey will then continue to the mountain peaks, passing through several iconic locations: Mondeguinho, the village of Manteigas, the Zêzere Glacier Valley, and Covão da Ametade. The tour will reach Torre, the highest point at 1996 meters.
Participants will have the chance to independently sample the renowned Queijo of Serra, the region’s most traditional cheese, along with local sausages.
Following this, the descent will take place through the Ski Resort, Lagoa Comprida, and Senhora of Desterro.
The tour will conclude by returning to the starting point at 5:00 pm.
