Fantastic day tour of Sintra and surrounding area - Miguel was an amazing tour guide. He was very flexible by customizing the tour to meet our preferences. He constantly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience on our visit to Lisbon, Sintra, Praia da Adraga, and Cabo da Roca. His knowledge of the area and the history made our day enjoyable and educational. We would highly recommend Miguel to anyone who is looking for a fantastic tour guide

Superb tour despite the closure of the expected attractions - We cannot say enough wonderful things about Miguel! We booked our tour expecting to see Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, and Quinta Regaleira, but due to the extreme heat those locations had been closed. However, Miguel took us on a walk around the wonderful town of Sintra, and treated us to traditional Portuguese pastries. After walking up and down this charming town, we drove to the beach and had a lunch of fresh-from-the ocean fish at Restaurant Adraga. Next we went to Cabo da Roca, and finally back to Lisbon. Miguel shared his vast knowledge of the history of Portugal and of the many different cultures which created the Portugal of today. This was not presented as a dry lecture, but as a native of Portugal who is passionate about his country. I feel as though we have made a new friend! If we could we’d give Miguel 6 out of 5 stars!

Incredible Sintra Experience - Miguel was an awesome tour guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable of the history of the key sites. He has a plan and shares with you up front his suggestions and the order in which to see things. Also, his recommendations on which attractions to get tickets at specific times is key. He also knows the backroads, secluded beaches to make the trip efficient and memorable. Don’t forget to book lunch at his favorite beach side restaurant.
Incredible day, we learned so much and saw so many things. Highly recommend !

The BEST - The BEST. What can you ask more? This tour is perfect in every way. Just book. You won’t regret it. I made a mistake while buying a ticket, but Miguel handled it perfectly. The restaurant he recommended was one of the best one. Thank you!

Amazing day in Sintra with Miguel - Miguel is an excellent guide - extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, kind and flexible (when there was traffic, tired kids, etc.). He went above and beyond to make sure we got to see both castles we wanted to (Pena and Montserrate) and we had an amazing lunch at one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever been to - which we would not have known about without him. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

Exceptional Private Sintra Tour with Miguel - This was by-far the best guided experience I have ever had. Miguel was beyond exceptional. This is his private business, and he clearly takes pride in what he does. He was funny, friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. He was just as good with my teenage nieces as he was with me, asking them all kinds of questions and keeping them engaged. He was flexible and easy-going but also took the lead and offered suggestions when required. We went to two palaces, a beach, lunch, and old town Sintra. I am already planning a trip back to Sintra with my girlfriend, and we plan to book Miguel for multiple days.

Wonderful private tour experience - If you want an easy, stress-free day in Sintra seeing the best it has to offer from a local, Miguel is your guy. He was super knowledgeable and professional, seamlessly driving us from our hotel in downtown Lisbon to all the sites we wanted to see and many that we didn't know about. He has a lot of experience as a guide, and it shows. It was a relief to take a step back from planning and let someone else run the show. We loved our day with him and felt like we got to see a side of Sintra that only locals know about. It
