- Wineglass Bay - After making your way down a quiet bush track from the Lookout to Wineglass Bay, you’ll have the opportunity to kick your shoes off and get your toes salty and sandy on the beaches squeaky white shores. Enjoy a cuppa and morning tea as you soak in one of Australia’s most beautiful beaches.
- Hazards Beach - Take the opportunity to kick your shoes off and explore the empty stretch of Hazards Beach. You’ll enjoy a delicious picnic lunch before choosing to take a dip or relax in the shade. Conveniently you’ll then board the Freycinet Aqua Taxi boat service from our remote picnic lunch, to transfer back to the Freycinet Lodge where our tour will conclude. The perfect opportunity to witness the Freycinet National Park from all perspectives!

Freycinet Walking Tour is a locally guided small group 5.5-hour walk and boat adventure in the Freycinet National Park. Connect with local knowledge and interpretive storytelling as you discover the richness of Wineglass Bay and less frequented corners of the Freycinet National Park. Fully catered and with gear provided, this book and forget tour is the perfect way to enjoy the Freycinet National Park.
- We require a minimum of 4 guests per tour to guarantee the departure. If you are booking for less than 4 guests and the first booked on this date, your booking will remain tentative until we reach minimum numbers. Someone from the team will get in touch to advise.
- This is an all weather tour. We do have a number of alternative itineraries to the advertised and provide wet weather gear. Your guide will liaise with the Aqua Taxi to confirm the safest itinerary to suit weather conditions. Your safety is our priority and in the event of extreme weather warnings, we will be forced to cancel the tour and provide a full refund.
- National Parks Passes are not included in tour fee and can be purchased from the Freycinet National Parks Visitors Centre, Freycinet Lodge or online. It is guests responsibility to be carrying a valid Parks Pass.
- A 15% Public Holiday Surcharge will apply for all Tasmanian statewide public holidays including substitute holidays. This is included in the total price for select dates ($276.00 per person).

Our Freycinet Walking Tour starts and finishes at the Freycinet Lodge, located within the Freycinet National Park. Meet your guide at 9:00am in the Hazard's Bar and Lounge, located downstairs within the Freycinet Lodge.

Tasmanian Hike of Wine Glass Bay and boat cruise. - Eliot was an excellent guide. Had a wonderful time enjoying the scenery. Lovely tea and snack at lookout point followed by a tasty lunch on the beach and boat ride along the shore to our hotel. Worth every penny.

Amazing views and pristine beach - A wonderful walk with amazing views. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the small group was lots of fun. Lunch on the beach was great.

Highly recommend - Such a wonderful day. Sarah paced the walk exactly right for a slightly unfit walker being myself and provided just the right amount of stops so we could all catch our breath. Very informative about the history of the park and surrounding areas and lunch was delicious. Freycinet NP is stunning, much more so than I’d envisaged. A walk and a place not to be missed. Highly recommend.

Walking to Wineglass Bay, unforgettable! - Fabulous walk through wild Tasmania. The climb is definitely worth it. Our guide Elliott was excellent. Highly recommended.

Excellent hike and great way to see the park! - We had a great time on our hike with Freycinet Walking Tour. It was a great way to see the park, and our guide Elliot was kind and helpful. They even went the extra mile to ensure that my husband had his gluten free meal. The boat taxi back to the lodge was a welcome relief after a hot day, and a lot of fun! Would highly recommend, although probably important for others who wish to join that the walk is quite strenuous.

Great hike, great guide - We had a great time on this hike - very personable guide who moved at the right pace and told us what to expect. Wineglass bay is gorgeous! and the fast ferry ride back to the hotel was really fun.

A Perfect day in Tasmania - The best day we had in Tasmania was this day. Our guide Sarah was warm, friendly, and full of wonderful tales and history about our glorious surrounds. The walk was simply glorious. The lunch delicious (and I’m fussy). The swim, the wildlife, the views, the boat ride home. All sensational. Thank you from us. We loved it.

Great way to see the sights in a short time with a large family - Thank you to Sarah and Freycinet Walking Tours for organising our tour for our large group and to Andrew for being a wonderful guide to the spectacular Wineglass Bay and Hazzards Bay. The lunch was delicious too and all our needs were considered.
