Beautiful waterfall and lush landscapes - Daniel and Wilbur were both great. Very informative about all the areas we were driving through, the history and stories were great! Waterfall was beautiful, although the steps down were wiped out from last year's hurricane. The hand-made tortillas were delicious!

Beautiful day! - My partner and I had a fabulous experience with Hugo and his nephew.... They made the experience exactly how we wanted it... We had a great time at the waterfall and got to see a lot of interesting countryside, we also got to go to Hugo's favorite taco stand afterwards.... All in all it was a very enjoyable experience!

Awesome Adventure! - Dani is responsive, knowledgeable, flexible and took us on an amazing all day tour. Dani was well informed and participated enthusiastically in all of our tour activities. We were a large group of 13 and he was accommodating to all of our requests. We visited several sites such as tortas Miramar (excellent), turtle sanctuary, Comala, and waterfalls (beautifully refreshing). We appreciated Dani’s hospitality so much we used him for airport transportation as well. We highly recommend Danitours!

Authentic Local Manzanillo Experience - This tour with Daniel was definitely best we have ever been on. We weren’t sure how big our group was going to be but it ended up being a private couples tour. Just myself, my husband and Daniel for the whole day. We ended up doing so much more than what was posted online. First we saw the shipping lanes in Manzanillo and the cannery. It was cool to see more off the beaten path industrial stuff. He told us all about imports and exports and about the history of Manzanillo. He was incredibly Knowledgeable. Then we went to eat the “best pozole in Mexico”. I’m not one to eat / order things I am not sure I’m going to like, but I just followed Daniel’s lead. He showed us how to add the cabbage, salt, radishes and lime and how to mix it and eat it lol. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. and I don’t even like cabbages and radishes. Then we went downstairs and saw the meat and fruit market. It was nice to see a real meat market because in the US we are so far removed from the animal and the butchering process. We even saw that it still looked like the animal, which I thought was cool. On the bottom floor there was this store he took us to and we shopped a bit. We found this GIANT spoon that was exactly the same size as the one the lady who was making the pozole so we bought our replica. Good for when the chancla doesn’t work! Lol Then he took us to the iguanraio. They had iguanas and also had some lemur raccoon like animals which i forgot the name of. As we were leaving Daniel spotted a guanábana on the ground and told us we could eat it! He broke it open for us and told us which part we could eat. Also as we were leaving he spotted a Mexican almond tree, found a rock, beat on the seed and told us we could eat the white part on the inside. And it certainly did taste like the inside of an almond. I found some a few days later and was able to share with my family. Then he took us to the Tortugario. We saw some crocodile and turtle shell fossils. They showed us where they had already stored the eggs that had been laid, and how they help the turtles. Then we got to see the different turtles they had in these pools. There were three different kinds. We also visited the salt museum. He told us about the history and how they would use the sea water and get it to evaporate so they can mine out the salt. We even saw a giant pile of salt covered by some big ole tarps. Then he bought us some snacks and beer and we headed out to the FISH PEDICURE area. This was the neatest and most unique part in my and my husbands opinion. It was this natural spring that comes from under the mountain and the water is crystal clear. These little grey black fish that live in this water will eat the dead skin off of your feet! It was so cool! It was like getting lots of little fishy kisses. You had to stay still which was a challenge. But when you did they would come and nip at you. It didn’t hurt, it felt cool. After that he took us to a river which had about 5 different mini falls and pools. We had lunch there and stayed for a while to swim and look around. Lots of locals there, you could bring your own stuff and rent out the tables by the water if you didn’t want to pay to eat etc. They even had Mexican grills set up. Then we went to Pueblo mágico. We ordered a drink and this place was crazy. They just brought us FREE FOOD. it was like you buy a drink and all the appetizers they bring you are included. Not sure why but that rocked. Who doesn’t like free stuff??? Also in Pueblo Mágico we did a mezcal tasting. You take the orange slice and hold it in your mouth, then take the mezcal and swish. Then swallow. It was strong but definitely worth it. He also took us to try some ponche. We got some samples and bought a bottle to take home. They had all sorts of different flavors. We bought some elote flavored ponche. (Corn). But we tasted some coffee nut mixture and some guanábana as well. Lastly and finally Daniel took us to the waterfalls. They were pretty impressive. He said that it was important to come with a local who knew when it was okay to swim in the fist one. The second one we had to climb through this rock mini cave overhang thing which was a whole experience. Then we got to the final waterfall which we climbed up and stood under before heading home. 12/10. Would highly recommend. If you are looking for an authentic Manzanillo experience that lets you feel like a local this is the tour for you.

Disappointed - Cancelled our trip less than 24 hours before - no real reason given - I assume not enough people? Very disappointing

Don't do this trip. Waste of money and time - Terrible trip. There was just no trip. We traveled six people four travelers and a driver and a guide in a small car and we sat like sardines. After driving for about two hours, on a bumpy road, we arrived nowhere. No waterfalls, no water, no pool. And the explanation was that it was because of a hurricane. So why did you take us all the way there for $160 per couple. Of course, the restaurant there wasn't a restaurant either, it was a local lady who lit a tree trunk and apparently had the ability to prepare something on it. We came back in another hour and a half. They did refund us $100. Thanks and what about the compensation for wasting time to see nothing and paying $60 for it??? do not recommend
