Richard and Carol on the beach - From the cruise terminal to a beautiful friendly beach, sunbeds,,parasols and great food and drink,,,spotless water quality,,,loved the place.

Daniel ( Danny) is the BEST - Double the fun tour was the greatest tour company. Daniel(Danny) was the best tour guide you could ask for. We was together for about 4hrs. and when our tour was over we felt like he was family. When I say we had the BEST time ever trust me. My husband & I hated when the tour ended that’s how much fun we were having. We toured the Dutch & the French side when I say a beautiful island. Can’t wait to go back. Book this company and tour and write a review and in the review let me know if you feel the same way. I’m booking our girls trip 2025 with Daniel he’s the best. Fantastic tour with Jo-Sa - Jo-Sa was a fantastic guide. He was a safe driver, took us each place listed on tour, but he added in a couple extra stops based on our preference. Since no one else was booked, if we asked for 5 minutes here, 1 hour there, we got it. Jo-Sa with Double the Fun tours was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to understand. US born, he has lived on St. Maarten for 20 years. We highly recommend this tour.

Jose was a great guide!... - Jose was a great guide! He knows a lot about the history of the island, and we had a great day! Would definitely recommend.

2 Beaches & Some Shopping! - This excursion started out rocky due to a mix up with the reservation so there was a lot of time spent trying to find our guide however Daniel (our guide) stepped up & made up for it. He was a great guide who took us up to a high peek on the island to get a beautiful view. From there we went to Orient beach which was just ok (you have to buy a drink in order to use the restroom in one of the bars). The water was a little rough for my comfort so we sat on the beach & drank a frozen drink before heading over to explore the Nude Beach. After an hour & a half we left to go to Marigot for some shopping however we did not have cash…..which is a must! From there we spent about 20-30 minutes at Maho beach & managed to catch 3 planes coming in in that short time which was great! Our 4 hours flew by but we had a great time.

Not worth the money - Jose was a friendly guide. It can be a little nerve racking to get in a stranger’s personal vehicle and exploring unfamiliar territory, but Jose made us feel at home. The downside to our experience is that it was VERY difficult to find him, which made us think we were scammed. After asking SEVERAL people, being re-directed multiple times and waiting in the heat, we eventually found him. We did not get any of the beverages that were supposed to come with our tour, and we were expected to pay for his lunch, without any appreciation from Jose. Additionally, the information and stories that Jose told us during our tour were not all true, as we did some research afterwards. All in all, I would not recommend spending the amount of money that we did for this experience.

Not all that was promised - Jose was difficult to find. Other drivers, his friends called him. The promised water/rum punch was not to be seen. We stopped for lunch mid-tour and went where he wanted- no options given. The bill came and he didn’t try to pay for his lunch - I guess it was expected that we would. We did, but it wasn’t acknowledged. The stories, while interesting, especially regarding hurricane Irma, turned out to be hyper exaggerated (we fact checked upon return to the ship). I would suggest going with a larger, more vetted company.

Would not recommend - Our ‘tour’ guide Kimberly picked us up in an SUV, no others on tour. Took us to Orient beach (clothing optional…didn’t inform of that) with stops along the way for photo ops. Asked if we wanted to go to bird sanctuary (extra admission fee) or to see iguanas. We declined. Then took us to Maho beach where we spent 90 minutes and saw several commercial planes and private jets pass over beach. Then took us back to the cruise port. Never took us to Marigot and no advertised refreshments were offered. Would not recommend this tour but Kimberly was polite and friendly. Felt more like a private taxi than a tour.

Never showed up - Tour never showed up. Seeking refund. Tour called double the fun. Didnt answer phone when i called them several times. Avoid at all costs.

He never showed up!! - Do not book with this tour! Simply put: he never showed up. When we arrived at the port, we looked around for him where we were supposed to meet. Then I walked around everywhere else in case he went somewhere else. No sign of him. I called him…straight to voicemail. I called Viator for help, they reached out to him…nothing. I texted him…nothing. Other tour operators were very nice and tried to help and called him on my behalf…same, straight to voicemail. Interestingly, here is a conversation I had with one of the tour operators: “Do you know where Double the Fun tours is? We’ve been looking for an hour.” “Yes, I know him. And he’s very disorganized and sometimes doesn’t even show up. You’re not the first one” “But I read so many five start reviews, I thought he would be good!” “Yes, his tour is good, when he shows up. But he often doesn’t.” So there you go. Don’t take it just from me. It apparently happens often. I booked this after reading all the great reviews. I’ve booked an excursion through Viator before and it was good, so I trusted the website…it’s not Viator, it’s this tour operator. If he ran into trouble, had a family emergency, or something came up, that happens. But it takes less than a minute to send a text or a message. I heard nothing. Even two days later, still nothing. Highly unprofessional. If you run a business, act like one and communicate.
