“An Unforgettable Experience- A day in Alsace - Maxim or Max, as we called him, was a superior guide! He told us the history of Alsace region and showed us many famous villages. We saw the village which inspired the movie Beauty and the Beast. Max also gave hints for restaurants and good wines to taste. He showed us the best views from the Castle and warned us beforehand that the journey up to and inside the castle entailed climbing 300 steps. Whew! We made it and what a view! Towards the end of the tour, Max drove up through the vineyards to reach a spectacular view of the region. Wow! While there, we picked maribellas, a delightful plum-like fruit. Max was also very caring for an elderly lady on the tour who couldn’t walk very fast. You will be very fortunate to have Max as your guide should you choose this Alsatian tour!” - Reviewed on 2024-07-30
