Only a couple of stops but great experience - We didn’t quite know where to go in Cologne but after a couple of stops we found what we were looking for and spent our time there.

Well Worth It - Easy to book and saved messing about once in Cologne. Friendly driver who told us to pick up the free ear buds and tune to Channel 2 for English. Lasted an hour and three quarters and visited everywhere you'd want to visit. Helps to get your bearings for the rest of your trip.

Nice tour at a slow pace - A nice slow walking pace gave us time to take a deeper look at what we were hearing about. Guide was very thorough.

Overall great way to see a large sampling of the city, but you won't learn a lot. - Very nice hosts, comfortable and clean bus, headphones provided to listen to guide in various languages, easy to understand. Tip: bring sunblock if you plan to ride up top! I would have liked a map or even a list of the stops so I could navigate to the stops easier. You can start the tour at any stop but, again, there was no list; I knew one was the cathedral so I just found my way there tand wandered around looking for a reed bus! There was no list was with the confirmation email, ticket, on the website, or via support chat. I was worried about hopping off, wandering around and never finding the bus again. Luckily I thought to pin the drop off and was able to GPS my way back. I also figured out there were red square signs on poles at the stops. I would have loved more info from the audio guide. Sometimes it was just something like "to the left you can see XYZ..." but I had no idea what to look at or why it was important. Maybe I'm too nerdy and want the Wikipedia of each point of interest!? The couple in front of me was really annoyed by this too. Overall great way to see a large sampling of the city, but you won't learn much.

Could do without - Not much to be happy about. All the main attractions are within walking distance from the Cathedral They have loud German commentary on in the bus and you can barely hear other languages in the ear phones

Couldn’t find the bus, waited at a few stops never showed up. - Couldn’t find the bus after waiting at a few of the advertise stops. We did see one bus, but we were in the wrong spot and never could catch it. We requested a refund but so far we’ve been denied.

Not worth the time or the money. - Don’t do it. A terrible experience and a waste of money. First impressions: the litter on the upper deck had not been swept. The seats from the rain had not been dried. The EarPods for the translation only worked on one side. The translated commentary was drowned out by the German commentary over the loudspeakers. The early parts of the tour were through a series of tunnels. Very noisy, and driven at (in my view) an unnecessary speed. The bus did not stop or slow down at interesting places, e.g. the Flora, or the view of the city from the other bank to see the cathedral as a silhouette against the sky. Etc. At 20 euros per person it was not worth the time or the money.

No consideration for cyclists - Two weeks ago I had an extreme situation with this provider in which the health of other road users was put at risk and equally inexcusable insults were made. I was out on my bike when, after making eye contact with a bus driver, he cut me off for ignoring the bicycle safety lane. Even when I was forced to stop, the bus driver continued to hit me and came within a few centimeters of me despite the prescribed safety distance of 1 ½ meters. Since it was impossible for me to avoid it any further with my bike at this point, I hit the bus once to get attention. At least that way I was able to motivate the driver to stop. However, this also led to the bus driver opening the doors and loudly calling me "disabled". Here I have to state the following: - The bus driver disregards the road traffic regulations and the bicycle safety lane. Just a few days ago, a mother and her child died in Berlin due to similar disregard. In January 2019, a friend was hit in a similar way and seriously injured. He died a few months later from his injuries. I have no understanding for this kind of behavior. - Allowing yourself to be drawn into ableist insults shows an extremely primitive mind. - This driver seems to be unsuitable in terms of character, morals and professional skills to be allowed to drive a vehicle. I have also contacted the provider, who admits, among other things, to the insults. However, the behavior does not seem to have any other consequences.
