The Gangarama Temple was established about one hundred and twenty (120) years ago and is one of the most important Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka. Originally built to be a small hermitage on a piece of marshy land in the 19th BCE, the temple has grown to include several imposing buildings and become an internationally known place of worship, a centre for learning, as well as an assembly hall for monks while also hosting a museum, a library and a Relic chamber among others.

Knowledgeable and Enjoyable - My driver was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He drove safely. The car was clean and AC to keep me cool.
I visited many temples to experience the cultural life. I ate at a wonderful restaurant for lunch. We able to go to a store for survivors.

Beautiful temples ! - The driver was very knowledgeable of Hindi and Buddhists temples. The sights were fantastic. Even though the tour online it says approx 6 hours, we were informed that is actually 4 hours of tour then 1 hour of shopping which was not in the description. We did 4 1/4 hours and were exhausted, so it’s the right amount of touring.
We recommend this tour.

Excellent - Excellent Tours with Lanka Tour Host. Colombo City tour was one of the brilliant tour with them. Deshan was the tour guide and he was knowledgeable. I and my wife enjoyed very well. Thank you Deshan.

One of the best tour companies in Sri Lanka - I did a Colombo city tour from Cruise as I had just 6-7 hours of transit in Sri Lanka and I must say the tour was more than just fantastic. Once I contacted them via whatsapp on their official number, they co ordinated me really well, sent me car, driver pictures one day before with exact timing and plan.
The driver was before time waiting for us, and he was really polite and giving all information and made our short time in Colombo very enjoyable.
The prices they have are I guess cheapest you can get in Colombo without compromising quality of tours. Recommended 100%

Amazing day - We were on a cruise stop. Our guide was amazing, was waiting for us at the port, took us to all the places we'd ask, and had so many knowledge to share. Also had a side job as our photographer. :) The car was new, clean, had bottled water and even wi-fi. Couldn't recommend more.

Great City Tour from Cruise Port - Wow. Colombo sure has some incredible temples to see and this tour was just perfect for the day that we had here. My significant other and I were very pleased and def give it 5 stars. Could not have been better, and so convenient too by booking direct on here. As soon as we exited our ship, our driver named Dejean, was there waiting for us with sign in hand. We spent the next four hours in a comfortable, air conditioned car sightseeing the best sights in Colombo and some incredible temples too. We were able to capture some of the best pictures on this visit here too, and this was well worth the price and comfort. We had no plans to do this tour, but so glad we did. You will not be disappointed.
