- Gangaramaya (Vihara) Buddhist Temple - Gangaramaya is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Colombo, started by the famous scholar monk Hikkaduwe Sri Sumangala Nayaka Thera in the late 19th Century.
After the Venerable Sri Sumangala, his chief pupil Devundera Sri Jinaratana Nayake Thera took on the administration of the temple. It was he who laid the foundation to convert the little temple to an institute of international reckoning.
The next chief incumbent was the Ven. Devundara Keerthi Sri Sumangala Jinaratana Vacissara Thera, the teacher of the Ven. Galboda Gnanissara, who worked to make the Gangaramaya what it is today: much more than a temple in the conventional term, but a place of worship, a seat of learning and a cultural centre.

Amazing City Tour - Everything is perfect !!! The simple instructions, I saw the main monuments of the city and made a small tour around the area to see the street food place .We visited the city in a short time Absolutely recommend.

Our guide Caviar - We had a wonderful 4 hour tour of Colombo. Our guide was super punctual, friendly and took a lot of time for us. The journey in a tuk tuk through the busy city is simply an experience. Eating in the local restaurant with a view of the sea was a highlight! Any time!

Good tour - Our guide, Caviar, was very kind and taught us a lot of things in English. He was kind to strangers and his good nature was evident. Personally, I was impressed by the old Hindu temple and the local vegetable market. I am grateful that it was good sightseeing in Colombo.

Great Tour - We had two tuk tuks as we were traveling as a family with two three year olds and my mother. The tour was perfect in length (half a day) and Colombo doesn't have more input to offer. We saw temples, mosques and churches. Now I know more about tea and local food. Super nice driver and guide!

Amazing experience - Ricky was my tuk tuk driver. He drove very politely and with foresight and I felt safe at all times. He put a lot of effort into choosing the program and spontaneously adapted it to my wishes. He took the time to explain the facts and background to all the attractions to me in detail and we were also able to talk and discuss everything else because he speaks very good English. Overall, the four hours were very worth it for this price and I can only recommend Ricky to everyone!

Great tour guide - friendly and patient - Caviar was my tour guide and he was lovely, polite and knowledgable. He showed me all the sights and patiently answered my questions. A perfect tour - thank you Caviar.

Perfect city tour with Mr Ricky - very experienced Mr Ricki. very safe trip, answered all questions. For sure we will come back to him. We ask to go for additional points, dustance and time was not a problem for him.
