• Blue Whales. Actually it takes only six to nine nautical miles from Mirissa harbor to reach whale habitats. Our whale watching tours start from Mirissa harbor and most of the time whales can be seen in very close to the Mirissa coast. Some days it takes several hours as they swim away for food in deep sea. During our journey to Blue whales we can see several other whale species, dolphins and other marine life also. Killer whales, Sperm whales, Bride whales and Pigmy killer whales are the different kind

You’ll be picked up from your Colombo hotel at around 3 AM or Negombo hotel at 2 AM and driven to Mirissa, which takes roughly 2 ½ hours. (Make sure to pack a breakfast if you can’t eat at your hotel).
Next, our driver will escort you to the Mirissa harbor, where the boat departs for the Whale Safari at 06.30 AM. Expect the boat safari to last around 04 to 05 hours, depending on whale sightings and the preferences of our passengers.
Once back on land, our guide will take you to a Beach Restaurant for a tasty lunch.
After your meal, feel free to explore the beach.
In the evening, we’ll conclude the tour and return you to your Colombo hotel. (The journey back will take approximately 2 ½ Hours)
