Over the years, especially in recent times, the number of wineries and estates has grown significantly. The northern area near the city stands as a testament to this development. Wine tasting balanced with exposure to history - Above all my thanks go to Rodrigo, my driver and guide in one. I thoroughly enjoyed that masterful combination of accessible glimpses of history and comments on cuisine and wine. Rodrigo represents a great sense of humour, displays fantastic organisational skills even if things go wrong. Classic and classy wine tasting. An absolutely recommended tour.
