Colonia del Sacramento
Colonia del Sacramento is a historical city, frozen in their colonial past. During several years it was a source of dispute between Spanish and Portuguese.
Nowadays is a place where people like to spend some days resting immersed in the peace and tranquility it offers.

Fascinating city! - I visited at the beginning of November 2023. 2 nights were reserved in Colonia, so there was a whole day for it and it was the best choice.
We had the opportunity to enjoy and walk around the entire historic center, the luck of seeing a local performance of Uruguayan camdombe, enjoying a splendid sunset and finishing off with a good dinner.
Charming city!

Sacrament colony - A visit to the area of Colonia sacramento, in Uruguay, on the banks of the RÃo de la Plata, a historic typical area, with cobbled roads.

Bored - The city, which I suppose mostly lives on tourism, does not have much to see or do, in two or three hours you can visit all the important parts,
