Great day trip! - We had a great trip with Chris! The weather was perfect, except for the snowstorm on the Peak. The drive to and from the locations was enjoyable. Chris gave us a lot of history and details on how the rocks were formed. Due to the storm happening on the peak, we weren’t able to go up to the summit, but we did go to Glen Cove and still got to see some beautiful scenery. Definitely a worthwhile trip, highly recommend! We even got a tasty treat bag and a yummy bbq lunch out of the trip!

An amazing adventurous day! - What an amazing day!! Chris was an amazing host for the day! We saw so much in one day . We also had an amazing bbq lunch. The entire trip was so worth it , if your on the fence on booking I would highly recommend that you book this trip

Garden of Gods with Chris - Our guide Chris was simply amazing. Southern hospitality mixed with all the knowledge of Denver and Colorado Springs. We loved the bbq lunch, it was absolutely delicious. The jeep was super comfortable and we very much appreciated all the packed snacks from Mary Lynn! Definitely recommend this day trip to anyone visiting the Denver area. 5 stars all the way!

Climatic Finish to a Six National Parks Tour - Our Viator guide Chris picked us up promptly from our hotel for a private days tour to explore “up close and personal” the Gardens of the Gods, before our summit of Pike’s Peak. He knew of great stops along the way, even a pullover at the grounds of the Air Force Academy where they were training, parachuting and gliding! Nice. This is a great tour that far exceeded expectations! After we chose our tour the operators contacted us, both reinforcing our decision as well as setting the tone. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour!

The Best! - Professor Chris was excellent!!! We had the most fun legally allowed in Colorado!! He had great tips and stories!! By the time our day was done it was like we were saying goodbye to a friend.

Above the clouds. - 9/6/24 We booked a trip for two and had a fantastic day which started with Mary Lynn reaching out before hand with update on the weather, reminder to bring a jacket and ETA. So very thoughtful. Day of we began our journey with Chris picking us up in their jeep and a very thoughtfully curated Colorado reusable tote bag with snacks for our day from Mary Lynn. From morning till evening drop off our day was filled with laughter, history, geological facts, exploring the marvel of the Garden of the Gods and making our way up to Pikes Peak. Along the way making stops at various points to admire the magnificent views, breathe the crisp air and Chris is an amazing photographer (thanks for the pictures!). We even had a snowball fight along the way. At no time was I worried about the drive, despite the twists and turns as Chris exceptional driving skills and maintaining safety were a priority. We did not lunch at the restaurant, rather at a picnic stop along the way up to Pikes Peak summit and it was beautiful. Taking the time to enjoy our meal seated amongst the cool breeze of the rustling trees was priceless. Please don’t hesitate to book this trip, if you’re here for a few days like us or taking a break from a weeklong hike… Thank you again!
