Embark on a thrilling winter adventure in Rocky Mountain National Park with our private tour. Explore frozen waterfalls, drive along Trail Ridge Road, and stroll around frozen lakes. Minimum of 2 guests.
- Rocky Mountain National Park - Our winter tour, starting in Estes Park, is all about taking a beautiful drive into the snow-covered Rocky Mountain National Park with a small snow / icy hike around Bear Lake (if conditions allow). We’ll take you as high up Trail Ridge Road as the weather allows. You’ll see frozen lakes, beautiful meadows, and wildlife. Your entrance into the Rocky Mountain National Park is included!
- Alluvial Fan - The second stop on your guided tour is the beautiful frozen Alluvial Fan waterfall. Your driver will give you the interesting history of this geological feature.
- Trail Ridge Road - During the winter months, the famous Trail Ridge Road is usually closed past Many Parks Curve, but your driver will take you as far up the road as possible to see parts of the National Park from above.
- Sprague Lake - If conditions do not allow for snowshoeing at Bear Lake, your guide will instead take you to snowshoe around the equally beautiful Sprague Lake.
- Bear Lake - If conditions allow, the main destination of your guided tour is the popular Bear Lake. This beautiful area is much more peaceful during the winter off-season months. Your guide will snowshoe with you around a frozen Bear Lake, where there are many beautiful photo spots.
- Beaver Meadows Visitor Center - At the end of your guided tour, you’ll make a stop at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center to purchase souvenirs and get your National Park Passport stamped!

On our tour, you’ll see a waterfall (frozen during our winter months), we’ll drive up the famous Trail Ridge Road as far as it is opened for the season, if conditions allow, walk around a frozen Bear Lake or Sprague Lake (both flat & less than a mile), and you’ll also visit the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at the end of your tour. This tour is NOT a hiking tour, and focuses more on driving in the National Park with small strolls throughout. Minimum of 2 guests.
*Micro spikes will be used instead of snowshoes and are included for your tour to keep you safe while walking on icy surfaces.
We are only able to offer hotel pickup for guests in Estes Park or the small surrounding towns. If you’re not staying near Estes Park, we can meet you at the free parking garage for the Estes Park Visitor Center for pickup.
