Great experience on the Bay and 2 Island stops - The schooner left from the Terminal Náutico da Bahia, where it was necessary to pay a tax of R$25. The first stop on Ilha dos Frades (at Ponta de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe) required payment of an "access fee" of R$25. The trip information advised of the second fee, but not the first. The beach at Ponta de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe is really lovely. There is a proper dock for easy disembarking and re-boarding. The second stop, on Ilha de Itaparica, required passengers to transfer from the schooner to small boats, and then to wade ashore through very shallow (and very warm) water. We had lunch at that stop. The schooner trip on Baía de Todos os Santos (All Saints Bay) was relaxing and the views really grand. A wonderful experience!

Beautiful day trip - Awesome day trip trough Bahia de Todos os Santos! Stopped at two islands: Ilha dos Frades (very ecological) and Itaparica.

Fantastic all day trip I would recommend - This is a great all day experience that gives a different view of Salvador and islands in the bay. We were picked up from our hotel looked after all day and then left back to the hotel at the end. The islands are beautiful and very interesting but best of all was the really fun atmosphere on the boat. We had only been in Brazil for 2 days and we left the boat having made lots of new Brazilian friends. Food and drinks are great too. The tour is very well organised by the leader Isaco Costa who is a great English speaker and took us under his wing - even giving us introductions to guides for the following stages of our holiday. I would thoroughly recommend this trip and this company.

Great Day Trip - Thr excursion was timely. The rides from the city to the islands is about 2 hours each way. The crew was awesome, the drinks were great and the live band was on point. Make sure you are wearing clothes and shoes for water.

Fantastic island - Everything was amazing , the beach and the guides ! Worth going for sure, one of the best trips :) just one thing that I found strange - the music was a bit too much and after they were coming to all people asking for money, I felt a bit uncomfortable.

Fun but not what I had expected - I had a good time overall and enjoyed going to the two islands. My only complaint is that it was advertised that there would be an English interpreter, that's one of the reasons why I decided to do this trip, and there was not, no one spoke any English and I only speak very basic portuguese. It was difficult to make it through the terminal and understand when the boats were leaving from the various islands. I understand that this is a Brazilian company and English isn't the norm, but it was advertised that there would be someone speaking English, and there was not. I couldn't fully enjoy, for worry of being left behind. I Also wasn't fully aware that I would be expected to pay for lunch at one of the stops. It is fine, I just wasn't fully prepared. Other than that, I did enjoy myself, the music was fun, the scenery was beautiful and it was great to see this part of Salvador.

Not as advertised - The tour isn't what it says, they merge you with a tour company that sales similar trip in the city (and has lower rates on Trioadvisor!), but much cheaper compared to this one. The tour turned out to be on a boat with about 100 people. It started at 8:30 (not as advertised in the Viator, 7 or 7:30). There was no english speaking guide. Although the portugese speaking guide was in a good mood.

irresponsible treatment of the customers - According to instructions, I came to the meeting point at 7:30. There was nobody from the operation De Boa. After some time, one of the workers at the terminals have managed to call one of the workers of De Boa. He said that the tour has been cancelled due to poor weather. No other previous information has been sent about the cancellation. No information about the return of the money has been sent either during the same day nor later. After I returned to the hotel I phoned the agency De Boa and they confirmed that the tour has been cancelled. When I said that the tour has already been paid, the guy said that the money will be returned. Until now I have not received any written info about this. This is no way to treat the customers. I demand the return of the money.

Don’t book. - The evening before the scheduled tour I received an email that the tour had been cancelled. Was very disappointed. Decided go just book through our hotel. Would rather always do local companies. Not this time. 😪

Had to wait an hour outside! - Very disrespectful! We were told to come 7am, but the tour actually leaves 8am! It’s very disrespectful to get people to come so early and have to wait an hour outside!
