The villa is a prime example of grand neoclassical architecture. Construction began in the late 18th century and was completed in 1812 by the Odescalchi Marquises. It later belonged to the Raimondi family, then the Visconti di Modrone family, and in 1925, it was acquired by the Municipality, which now uses it for cultural events and art exhibitions.
