Lugano .Switzerland - Very close to Lake Como. It's a very picturesque city. The center has a lot of life. The views of the lake are beautiful. There is a beautiful park to explore with a variety of vegetation.

Great choice for a tour! - What a wonderful day! Our guide was knowledgeable and witty. He showed us good places to eat in Bellagio and the shops in Lugano. He knew where the restrooms were in each place so we didn't have to ask. The scenery was astounding and he knew where all the stars lived and where movies were filmed. We had a wonderful time!

Andre' was absolutely... - Andre' was absolutely amazing tour guide for us! His intimate knowledge of Lake Como, and all the areas included on the tour was nothing short of 5 stars!

Incredible Ride! - The experience was out of this world. Andres too care of everyone’s needs — even reserving the best spots on the boat to get the perfect look a George Clooney’s home and all the other celebrity abodes. Bellagio was incredible, Lugano was cozy and nice but nothing beats Como. I got a lot of knowledge from the experience. Thank you Andres!

Beautiful Lake tour - Our guide Andrea was a fantastic guide. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We had amazing day on the touring the lake and our visit to Bellagio and Lugano. I would recommend this tour.

Amazing tour - What an amazing time with Andreas! He was an excellent tour guide, full of knowledge and fun. The weather was perfect too! He made sure he gave us the best views on and off the boat.

A day in Como - The boat trip around Como, a day long activity, was well planned and well paced. It was a fun way to spend the day. Even though the weather was not the best, (a foggy day) the temperature was warm enough to go out on the boat to take in the view and take photos. After cruising up the river, the boat stopped at Bellagio, an adorable town. There was a two hour lunch break. After meeting with our tour guide, the fabulous Andra, we walked a few blocks to continue our tour by bus. We headed to the Swiss side of the lake. By that time, the weather improved and it turned out to be a sunny day. We spent an hour in Lake Lugano before heading back to Como. Andra, a native of Como, was knowledgeable about the region as well as providing excellent tips about our tour. After one viator, I am looking forward to signing up for another one in the future.

Enjoying Lake Como - Lovely views of the villages situated in the west coast of the lake. The guide, Laura, was very friendly and knowledgable, gave interesting explanations. At the end of the day, we also had a sweet experience(bought chocolate in Lugano.

A very beautiful scenic tour! - Starting with the ferry ride to Bellagio and then onward to Lugano, the entire tour was excellent! Andre, the guide, was very informative, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. It was a good mix of travel by water and by bus. The only downside to the trip was being dropped off at the main train station in Como instead of the starting point as stated in the tour description. It was a 20 minute walk to the starting point which was tiring and difficult to do at the end of the day considering we are a retired couple. Not sure why the bus couldn’t drop us off at the meeting point. Andre stayed with us until we got to the starting point.

Good but Switzerland part is time wasting ORDEAL - It was fair. We had to skip Lugano because guide said we couldn’t use pictures of our passports like we did on other TripAdvisor excursions, and would not let us go get them. Yet she let ANOTHER couple run get theirs and we waited. The trip DID NOT leave on time and we would have gotten back with the extra delay. She kept saying they would leave us behind. She also said we could not stay on bus instead of Switzerland . Our friends said they did even not check any passports there anyway! They also said the Lugano portion is a complete waste of time. The border was backed up in both directions despite not even checking the insisted upon passports! You are only in Lugano 50 minutes and such an ordeal for just that short visit! The tour was in 2 languages and I know both so it’s kind of tedious having to listen to every single thing explained 2 times in a row! It isn’t really fun doing this for those that only know 1 language either! They should divide this tour into 2 separate tours to AVOID THIS! But they make more money throwing you onto one big bus and just repeating everything. The guide must get exhausted! I sure would! We had to pay our own way back due to skipping Switzerland but we lucked out as our extra ferry ride , visit to the town of Varenna and train ride back to Milan were WAY more fun according to our friends and less tedious than the Switzerland ordeal. We got back 3 HOURS before our friends and had a better time. Lugano makes the trip super long and it is not worth it! The Como, Bellagio and boat ride part is awesome however. If you can do this tour without the Swiss part, it’s GREAT! The only reason they add that is so they can advertise “2 countries”. They should just stay longer on the lake, in Como and Bellagio. 50 mins in Switzerland is NOT worth all that extra driving time, the wait, and the ordeal.
