Amazing tour! - What a wonderful experience! I went with a friend and we were both so impressed with the sheer amount of birds we saw, almost all of which were completely new to us. Our guide, Jose, picked us up and drove us an hour and a half or so out into the Sierra Madre to the Tufted Jay Preserve. The area is stunning and we pulled over for photos of the mountains several times. Jose was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful on the whole trip. He was an excellent guide and shared the professional photos he took of the birds we saw with us. I’m so glad we decided to do this tour. The hiking was moderate, through pine forest on logging roads for the most part, and at a high altitude, so plan accordingly for your trip. Definitely book with them!
