Excellent Tour Agency - Kept All Promises - Wonderful Visit to this UN Touristed County - The Fancyellow team kept all promises and provided me with an excellent tour of Constantine and several other Algerian cities. From beginning to end, they communicated clearly and quickly. They addressed all of my pre- trip concerns, adjusted my itinerary as needed and ultimately provided me with an incredible visit to Algeria. I started in Algiers. I took an early morning walk around the city on my own before meeting their guide. Terrific walk through Algiers and a metro ride to the Martyr’s memorial. I visited Ghardaia - a must see on any trip to Algeria. Again, excellent guides. And finally Constantine - a visually stunning city with an incredible mosque. Again - Fancyellow’s guides showed up as promised. Hotels booked were great and they booked all domestic flights. Air Algerie was on time and efficient for all of my flights. Highly recommend this group for Algeria travel.

Day two of a merged tour - A merged tour with another traveller. Most enjoyable. We were picked up in Constantine by a driver who is interested in photographing flowers and insects and a tour guide who just wanted to see us to practice his Norwegian a little. Our tour started the day after. Our guide showed us his Constantine, including tunnels that the tourists usually don't see, and including his part of town (where everyone was greeting him). Local musicians practising at one of the sights. Everything was soo good (this applies to the tour in Algiers also) . I leave with a very positive impression of Algeria. Even though the landscapes and sights are spectacular, the people are what I will remember the best.

Unique and Extraordinary Discovery Experience Through Constantine & Djemila/Setif - Fancy Yellow Services orchestrated a seamless, two-day tailored trip to Constantine and then Djemila & Setif (booked separately through the company). They effortlessly arranged airport pickup/drop-off, ensuring a smooth start to the journey. Their flexibility with payment processing for the additional trip to Djemila/Setif, when I couldn't find the exact date, was a relief. I reached out to them directly to facilitate the possibility of visiting these places, and they promptly accommodated my travel plans, understanding the importance of my strict travel itinerary. Fancy Yellow also provided car transportation to/from sites around the city and back to my hotel, adding to the convenience of the trip. I am deeply grateful to have had Billel as my tour guide for the two days. His profound knowledge of history and impressive language skills, transitioning seamlessly between French and English, instilled confidence in me to be a more avid language learner. As a French learner, I appreciated his willingness to conduct the tour primarily in French, which made the experience more immersive and enriching. I like his format of going to the museums at Constantine and then Djemila first to get an overview of the location's history. The museums there have great model scales of the cities, which make it easy to understand and conceptualize the sites you are going to visit. In my opinion, it was easier to understand where I was in the city after getting the overview from Billel at the museums. The Constantine tour was superb, with breathtaking views, and Billel is excellent at assisting in taking photos. If you're adventurous to explore the depth of the gorge, it's worth the hike down, although just have some good and comfortable walking shoes. It is possible to see all the major sights in Constantine in a day, but it will be jam-packed with lots of walking on hilly terrain. I recommend having a small day pack with water/snacks, but you can also find plenty of places to get refreshments throughout the city. Constantine is by far one of the most incredible cities I have ever visited and is a must-see if visiting Algeria. If you want to pick up some locally made copper crafts, Constantine has a unique copper market, which is exciting to see. Djamila/Setif excursions on the second day were also fantastic trips. The Roman ruins in Djemila were breathtaking and very expansive in the Algerian countryside. If you have the time, it is definitely worth the visit if you are interested in Roman history and seeing the smaller towns that you drive through to get there. Setif was also unique, and it provided an interesting perspective on a growing city that is becoming more modernized and urbanized within the 21st century. The museum there was also fantastic for understanding local history and its Neolithic origins. I would absolutely recommend Fancy Yellow services for unique experiences tailored to be made for solo and small groups in Algeria! Until next time!

We are a trusted agency - There was little information about Algeria, so I was a little worried, but I was reassured by the quick response to my inquiries. The pre-arrival visa process was also smooth.

Excellent Tours and Service from Fancyellow - I used Fancyellow for several tours: Best of Algiers, Timgad, Djamila, Constantine, Annaba, and Tipaza. While planning, communication was fast and all my concerns and questions were answered. When In Algeria, everything went perfectly. All the guides were knowledgable and punctual. Especially notable was Billel, who did the Contantine/Timgad/Djamila/ Annaba tours. His knowledge of history and Latin brought the ruins to life. All the drivers drove safely, and we had some bad weather while in Constantine. Fancyellow was very good at adjusting itineraries to meet my interests. Islam was always available on WhatsApp and did more than he had to to facilitate my trip, even in places where I wasn't using Fancyellow. I have no hesitation in giving Fancyellow my highest recommendation.

World Class Service and a Friendly and Knowledgeable Team! 🙌🏻 - I’m used to solo traveling and generally plan everything by myself. However, when I decided to come to Algeria to explore the Roman ruins I decided it was wise to seek local expertise. Enter FancyYellow, a tour company I found here in TripAdvisor. I have only good things to say about them. They made my trip unforgettable, at every step of the way, starting months ago with planning, the communication was easy and transparent. They helped me with the letter for the Algeria visa, they proposed an itinerary but were flexible when I asked for adjustments, their guides are incredibly knowledgeable and made the visits fun, informative and interactive. I love history so having a guide that even spoke Latin and could read the inscriptions to me but also explain in great details what every place was about 🤯. The drivers and guides were always on time. If there was an issue or I had a request they either solved it or try to accommodate it. World class service! If you are planning to come to Algeria having local support could make your trip better and easier, particularly if you want to cover a lot of places in a short amount of time as I did. And if so, do consider FancyYellow. Oussama, Amine, Zaki, Othman, Bilel, “Vin Diesel”, Amar, and Omar, thank you all very much for the warm welcome, the kind attention and for an awesome experience.

Algiers, Ghardaia, Djemila, and Constantine in a great four days - Very responsive and thorough. I first started to reserve the 4 day tour that covers Algiers and Constantine. Then I asked to add Djemila, then I asked to work in Ghardaia. I was traveling fast but, these guys helped me figure out how to fit it all into four days. I initially had a couple guys responding quickly on email. When it was close to the tour we switched to a single contact on Whatsapp, Islam was always attentive and spoke perfect English. In all I did a day tour of Algiers, a day of Ghardaia and M'Zab valley, a tour of Djemila, and a day tour of Constantine. Four days, four nights. All guides spoke very proficient English. With a US passport I did not need to partner with YF for LOI support but, they were prepared to help. Try to find the 3 part TV series "Hidden Algeria" and watch it before your trip. My guide, Khaled, for Ghardaia was featured in it. I was able to find it through my library to stream online for free. I wish I had seen it before my trip.
