- Palais d’Ahmed Bey - We navigate through the Casbah until we reach the Bey’s Palace, continue to the right side to the narrow streets of the Casbah directly to the Boulevard of the Abyss and along the pieced gorges. Here you can enjoy the picturesque landscapes up until we reach the square and the suspended Sidi M’Cid Bridge after we cross it we climb up the stairs. Meantime you can have a vantage point to take some good pictures of the rear side of the bridge and its surroundings then we continue up to the Monument to the Dead and down to the high cliffs. Afterwards, go back to the same point where we climbed the stairs and continue along the hospital way until the cable cars stairs then we descend and go directly to the Bab El Kantara where can see the old bridge built by Salah Bey and then on to see the Rail Way station on the right side and beside it there is the statue of Constantine the Great. We pursue our walk and turn right again to see the so called the Melah Sliman bridge or the footbridge/wobbly bridge/Elevator bridge. Then we climb the stairs or take the elevator up to Igherssen Restaurant to have lunch. Later head down the Chatt which is the main entrance to the old city or Souika and then after exploring it there is one way out to see and walk on the Stone Bridge or the Viaduct of Sidi Rached and at the same time, we can see from a vantage point the Devil’s Bridge or the beam bridge just below it and the extension of the park of Bardo as well as the Zaouia of the Saint Sidi Rached. Then, continue back to the second line of the bridge to the main city and then the stairs of the Koudia Atty to visit the national museum of Cirta. After the museum we either go to buy the Jawziya from one of the renowned shops in Constantine or we can skip it if you’re not interested. We take up the Tramway in the terminal station of Ben Abdel Malek Ramdan and go directly to the mosque of El Amir Abdelkader which will be our last stop.
