• Dolbadarn Castle - Built by Llewelyn the Great in the early thirteenth century, this is one of the greatest of the castles built by the Welsh princes. A circular keep that has attracted artists and set in a stunning landscape.
• Caernarfon Castle - One of the greatest castles ever built by an English King. Caernarfon is massively symbolic, it was the centre for the English conquest of Wales.
