The remainder of the time will be spent in the water with the instructor helping everyone to stand up. Return to the trailer to drop off the equipment and then take a shower and change.

Meet at our truck in the car park near the Greenmount Surf Life Saving Club on Marine Parade At Coolangatta. It is opposite McDonalds Coolangatta and Rip Curl Coolangatta. Look for the big Learn To Surf Truck in the car park.

Best surf school ever - We had a lesson with Blake, he‘s the best surf teacher ever, really cool guy with good teaching skills and he did an amazing job. It was our first time surfing ever and thanks to Blake we already catched some waves ourselves!

It was a really fun... - It was a really fun experience and the instructor (blake) was probably the best part of it. he was calm and friendly with us. we had so much fun speaking to him outside the surfing. and he somehow managed to teach us how to surf in just one lesson!

Awesome! - We did a Learn to Surf with Blake on Coolangatta beach and it was amazing. Everyone surfs here and so we had to give it a go. Blake was fantastic. Patient, helpful, clear instructions. And helped A LOT. The man was out there guiding us through the water, setting us on waves, encouraging.
The water was a bit rough, but perfect for first timers. We caught enough waves to really get a feel for the sport and had a great time trying to get up and actually surf. The equipment was good, the experience well worth the time.

Surf lesson - Just finished our lesson with Marco at Coolangatta with our 9 year olds. Was a great morning out and Marco did an amazing job getting the boys up on their boards for the first time. Super helpful and accommodating and even let our 4 year old wear a go ride a wave rashie so she felt like she was part of the action! Would definitely go again.
Surf is quite strong and I would recommend if possible having an adult in the water with kids this age to help them mange their boards.

Great kids learn to surf lessons - Booked kids lesson for my sons aged 12 and 8. Well paced lesson got all the kids up on the boards. Marco was friendly and worked super hard all lesson in the strong swell to make sure the kids got plenty of goes and didn’t get bored. Great value fun morning activity.

Amazing experience! - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I cannot thank Cal, our instructor, enough for the surf lesson. It was certainly not the easiest day to surf with the high winds, but Cal demonstrated each move and answered all the questions we had. He also dedicated his attention to each individual in the water, helping us all manage to get up and surf (I say that lightly). I definitely recommend.

Go Ride a Wave Coolangatta - Thank you Arthur for an awesome surf lesson! A short staycation and it was worth every cent!
2 adults and 1 child all at different stages of surfing and you really made sure we were all ready for the day on the water, providing an understanding, demonstrations and clear instructions. I will definitely come back for another lesson to practice my technique and hopefully not use my knees to pop up.
Hang 10 and happy surfing friends!
PS anyone who travels solo, get someone to take a photo of you to capture the memories.

Child’s 1st surf lesson - Our daughter is 8 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The instructor really took her of her and would highly recommend the company and Arthur.

Great experience for first surf lesson - We had an amazing experience learning from Dennis. He's an excellent instructor. My 9 year old son who had never surfed rode a wave 40-50 yards into shore at the end of the lesson thanks to Dennis's instruction. awesome experience. highly recommend

Surfing Coolangatta - I had a fantastic lesson with two other girls, young ones really get the hang of it quickly. Instructor was awesome, he clearly demonstrated, explained and assisted as needed. Perfect location at Coolangatta, weather cleared during our lesson & water temperature and conditions were good. Highly recommended!
