Kevin walked us through the historical sites of the islands and flooded us with lots of historical information about the Incas. This information was very useful when we visited Machu Picchu afterwards. We learned more about the Incas from Kevin in Bolivia then from our guide at Machu Picchu. Without Kevin passing along his knowledge, we would be completely lost at Machu Picchu. He went into details of the buildings structure and the traditions and meanings of sculptures. The Island of Sun is just mesmerizing and so worth the hike to the top. Kevin was very mindful of our acclimatization to the altitude, constantly checking on our wellbeing.
