We embark on a 20-minute drive through the Tijuca Forest which takes you to the foot of the statue, offering glimpses of the picturesque terrain that awaits. From the statue’s height of 710 meters, revel in panoramic city views. Our City Tour also includes excursions to the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Arcos da Lapa featuring the iconic Selarón Steps. Half-day Tour was a memorable experience - We took the half-day tour except which visited all important Sight-seeings. We can only recommend the Tour and would clearly do it again.

Corcovado excursion and city tour. - A very good excursion with Monica who had impeccable organization. The comments in French were complete and very interesting. We highly recommend Monica.

A great day! - Our guide contacted me the night before to confirm the meeting place & time. Monica showed up on time, was informative and kept everyone on schedule. She speakers multiple languages which was helpful to the international mix of tourist she had.

Not Recommended - The tour is essentially paid transportation to Christ the Redeemer and the Selaron steps. We drove around Maracana stadium, which is an old, dirty concrete stadium. We didn't stop for photos. We stopped for 10 minutes at the Cathedral and the guide said we had 10 minutes to use the bathroom. I think everyone thought the 10 minutes was for the bathroom and we would later go into the Cathedral, because no one visited the Cathedral and guide never said anything. We left in van after the 10 minutes. The Sambodrome is basically a street with permanent viewing stands on both sides. Without Carnival activities, it is not really worth seeing. Finally, the English proficiency and clarity of guide was mediocre at best.

Well-intentioned, but a disaster. - This was one of our worst tours. We were picked up at the hotel 40 minutes late. The tour included the top shots of Rio. So far so good, but far too arduous. Example: cocovado took a total of 3 hours. But at the top of the statue it only took 25 minutes. It was torture. Never again!!!!

We picked a short 1/2 day... - We picked a short 1/2 day tour due to our limited time in Rio. Unfortunately, everyone else on this tour booked the full day tour. The tour was to start at 8am and we expected to be back prior to noon. The tour started late, 2 of the stops turned into drive by's and we still weren't back until close to 2PM. The tour itself was pretty good but if you are pressed for time, like we were, I would suggest choosing something else.

Disappointed because the guide was not of much use - Being a half day tour, normally at the end of our route, the guide was supposed to return us to our meeting point. But no, we were made to understand that we had to make our own way to get back to where we started. We had to pay for a taxi to return home.
Moreover, the tour was supposed to be in French, but no, we found ourselves with a guide who spoke mainly Italian, but who spoke English and French with difficulty.
