Fun and Safe Favela Tour - This was a great way to explore a favela. We learned a lot and got to interact and meet fun and interesting people.

A good learning experience - I love our guide, Martin's sense of humor. It was really a privilege to be able to walk through a favela since we are strongly discouraged to go there by ourselves. I felt very safe and did not feel uncomfortable at all. It was a great opportunity to see, hear and learn about the history and how the favela functions. The paths that we took were one of a kind, and the views from the lookout point was breathtaking. Would highly recommend it!

Tour Favela - It was an amazing experience! A beautiful view , a lot of animation, a good representation of the Brazilian spirit. And a proof that the favela goes far beyond stigma , it became clear that it has a lot to offer , both in relationships , in the economy , in art , in tourism . And an experience that everybody should afford to see , creative , smart , fun , and spontaneous that the Brazilian people express themselves, it is contagious! For me it was a very pleasant surprise. I would do this Tour other times for sure!

A Must See in Rio - Our travel guide, who lives in the favela, gave us excellent insights. We hiked well over two hours within the favela providing an excellent overview. We would highly recommend this tour as the favelas play such an important role in Rio’s culture.
