• Copacabana Beach - Take in the sights of the sidewalks and surrounding buildings. We won’t be stopping for a swim, as our focus is on the architectural elements around us.
• Hotel Emiliano - Restaurante Emile - We’ll pause in front of the hotel to appreciate the architecture of this stunning modern structure.
• SESC Copacabana - The SESC Copacabana is a hidden gem of modern architecture that often goes unnoticed. Many people pass by without stopping to admire its design.
• Av. Atlântica, 3432 - As we walk along Copacabana beach, we’ll stop in front of the Museu da Imagem e do Som. Although it’s still under construction, we can still appreciate its modern architectural style.
• Guinle Park - From Copacabana, we’ll head to Laranjeiras, a different neighborhood in Rio. We’ll pass through the gate and take in the beauty of the trees, pond, and flowers in the area.
• Feira de Sao Cristovao - From Laranjeiras, we’ll move on to the Feira de São Cristóvão. Admire the unique shape of the Feira de São Cristóvão and stop for a quick bite (not included).
• Av. Oscar Niemeyer, 2000 - Appreciate the architecture of this building, which was part of the modernization of Rio’s docks.
• Palacio Capanema - Situated in Downtown Rio, the Capanema building is a stunning example of modern art.
• The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian - The cathedral’s unique shape sets it apart from other churches in the city.
• Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro - Take photos outside the Museum of Modern Art. This is our final stop. You may choose to stay and purchase a ticket to enter the museum (not included).

Set out on a journey to explore Rio’s prominent contemporary architectural sights. Beginning with a pick-up from your hotel, we usher in you on an indelible tour filled with cultural and historical stories.
Rio’s South Zone, known for its expansive coastline and sun-drenched beaches, is also a showcase for modern architectural era. Wandering through beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana will present us with these icons. Follow along with the guide as you learn about these eye-catching edifices. Our exploration continues to Parque Guinle, experiencing a unique facet of modern architecture, followed by Feira de São Cristóvão. We break for lunch (not inclusive in the package), an opportunity for you to rest and photograph your surroundings.
Post lunch, we proceed to Pedregulho, a previous housing project in Rio. Finally, we end up in Downtown to witness the contrast between various modern architectural designs. Upon completion of the tour, we ensure that you are dropped back at your hotel.
