Embark on your journey from the Downtown area (“Centro”), taking the tram (“bondinho”) to the artistic Santa Teresa neighborhood. Your route will take you over the Lapa Arches.
Next, explore the charming and bohemian Santa Teresa, a picturesque locale in Rio de Janeiro. Pay a visit to the Ruins Park (not open on Mondays), a communal park that hosts an art gallery, integrated within the remains of an old mansion. Following this, descend the vibrant Selarón Staircase, a renowned landmark in Rio, and find yourself in the Lapa district, known for its vibrant nightlife.
Enjoy a leisurely walk through the Passeio Público, the oldest public park in South America, eventually leading you to Cinelândia, a dynamic area in Rio rich with bars, restaurants, and cultural sites. Tram was a new experience and the places were beautiful, something not known in my country. - Excellent tour, good explanation, very punctual, clear explanations from Alexia and Douglass.
Very elegant cafe. In general, your guide and motorcyclist were very good and I recommend them for any visitor.

Great tour covering some interesting parts of the city - This was an excellent tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Manuel is a great guide who is pleasant, friendly and very knowledgeable about the city. The tour was well planned and enabled us to see a variety of parts of the city that are not included in some of the other tours. The street car ride was lovely as was the stop at the Cafeteria Colombo. All in all a great tour and well worth the price.

Must do half day tour - Fabulous half day tour with varied attractions. Very knowledgeable guide. Bit of walking involved but nothing over strenuous.

Artsy Rio - So enjoyed the entire tour from the streetcar ride to a snack stop at the iconic Confeitaria Colombo. Our guide Manuel was professional and inclusive. The Selarón Steps were definitely a must see although daunting when gazing downward. I needed some reassurance and assistance to make the descent and it was kindly provided. The vehicle was comfortable and driver was kind and adept. My husband and I highly recommend this tour when in Rio.

exceptional - we did the tram ride in order to explore the neighborhood of santa teresa. the ride and the neighborhood are gorgeous. on the way we participated a street party a few days before the carnival.

Stressed - Late 20 minutes. 2 Tours on the same bus. Was supposed to be 4 hours from 9 to 1 and ended up being close to 5 hours and we had to leave tour and taxi back to hotel in order to get to our ship on time.
