Difficult climb - I was not in good enough shape physically to easily do the climbs. The guide was very helpful which made it possible for me.

Excellent knowledgeable and enthusiastic afternoon tour Tijuca and Botanic Gardens. - We did the half day tour with “John” (sorry, can’t remember how to spell his name!) on Sat 21-9-24. We had an excellent afternoon seeing some of Rio away from Coca/Ipanema beaches, then onto Tijuca forest for a short walk then next we had a good tour of the Botanic gardens which was very interesting. Despite our guide saying he wasn’t an expert naturalist, he provided plenty of information on all the plants and trees. Would definitely recommend and was very reasonably priced.

Great tour outside of the main city attractions - This is a great way to experience a different aspect of Rio, away from the beaches and major tourist sites. Our guide gave us a lot of basic info about city. Only spent a short time in the forest but got a good sense of the area. Had an extensive tour in the Botanical Garden and our guide was knowledgeable about the flora.

An enjoyable afternoon - We were part of a small group and our guide Joao Ferrero was excellent. He was knowledgeable and made the trip enjoyable and entertaining. We made several stops around the Tijuca Forest and Joao personally guided us around the Botanical Gardens, ensuring we stayed as late as possible to make the most of our time. A big thank you to Joao for a great afternoon.

Nice. Good value. - Good guide. Nice views. Price was ok. Buy your own ticket to botanical garden- $15 vs $28 if purchased through tour. Rem to ask about half off for seniors.
