Your journey begins at the Botanical Garden (ticket-inclusive and non-inclusive options available), visiting the Sensory Garden, the Brazilwood (the national tree that Brazil is named after), Turtle Lake, and the pond with the giant-water-lilies. Stroll under two-century-old royal palm trees on your way to the orchid and bromeliad house.

Next, head to the Vista Chinesa lookout (excluded on Saturdays and Sundays due to vehicle restrictions) for a sweeping view of Rio.
