Great half day tour to cover two of Rio’s breathtaking spots. - Great half day tour covering two of Rio’s breathtaking spots - Christ the Redeemer statue and Sugarloaf mountain. Great job for tour guide Antonio to be speaking and explaining in three languages - English, French and Spanish. Hotel pickup and dropoff was very much appreciated.

Our tour guide Monica made it extra special - We loved the tour. It was really organised. We were picked up from the hotel and our tour guide, Monica, decided we should go to Sugar Loaf first, as Christ the Redeemer was covered in cloud. Monica was really knowledgeable, very friendly and thoughtful. Taking pictures, holding souvenirs, etc. She was great at rounding everyone up too. Would definitely recommend! Thanks again to Monica and our driver for making the tour so special 🙂.

Very good experience - Very friendly and knowledgeable guide on the subject. Very knowledgeable about her work. During the tour he told us about the history of the city since its founding, as well as the development of the neighborhoods and their inhabitants.

Excellent tour. - The guide turned up on time and was friendly, efficient and spoke good English. The views from both the Sugar loaf and the Redeemer were amazing. We were lucky with the weather as the next day both venues were covered in mist. Highly recommend if the weather is good!

Sights of Rio - spot on! - A minor glitch with pick up but then the tour went very smoothly - guide helped us skip the queues so that we could enjoy the amazing views at Sugarloaf Mountain and later Christ the Redeemer. Our biggest positive was the commitment to get us back to our ship right on time. So appreciated.

Great day out. - Our guide was very helpful and informative. The driver did drive quite fast over all road surfaces (but that seems to be the South American way). The que for the Sugar Loaf cable car was about an hour, but the views from the top were well worth it. The drive up to the Christ statue was an experience (I've been on less exciting roller coasters). The crowds at the top were large, but that's to be expected. Again, the views are amazing. The trip was described as 5 hours long, our was 6.5 hours long. Just be wary if you are doing the trip whilst on a cruise ship as we arrived with half an hour to spare before "All aboard." The delay was due to a mixture of heavy traffic in the city centre and people in the group not being back on time at meeting points. This was a long day, but it was worth it for the views.
