Wonderful day in Rio!! - I loved the entire experience, they came to the hotel early for us, and the day went very well. Monica is very friendly, communicative and knowledgeable about the history of Rio. The bus is super comfortable. The delicious food. In short, 100% recommended and even more so if it is with Mónica

If you want a quick and informative tour, I would highly recommend booking this tour. - It’s always been on my bucket list to see Christ The Redeemer Statue and the Sugar Mountain and this tour gave me exactly what I needed. On the ride over, Monica gave us a history lesson on Ipanema and Copacabana which was very informative.

Excellent - Excellent tour, early start to avoid crowds and traffic but well worth it. Guides Gabo and Andrei were excellent, speak Spanish and English fluently, very engaging and extremely well informed about the history of Rio.

Definitely worth the money! - I normally hate tours with groups. But, Rio was busy and I figured it would be much easier just to have transport. I am very glad we decided to go with this group. Carol was terrible. Also gave us pointers to different restaurants and sites to view the city. Getting Ubers from place to place and admission fee's would probably be cheaper yes. But having a guide with knowledge was great. Being able to skip the lines which was a very big bonus in my eyes.

Tour of Rio’s Highlights - Our tour was great! We had plenty of time at each site to wander, take pictures and enjoy. We did lose our tour guide at one point when we met at the correct location on time, so that was stressful for about 15 minutes, but overall, great time!

Not worth the money or time spent - The tour itself was a mess. The pickup time was 7:55am and we continued to pick up 12-14 people. We stayed in the van for pickups for 1.5 hours. Karen, our tour guide was nice and it was not her fault at all but we later learnt that the company combined two tours. For what should have been a half day tour, it lasted much longer. The sites of Rio (Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain) were great, views incredible. But you can get there on your own without this tour. The tour company also said we were out of the pickup zone but our airbnb in Ipanema was one block away- a 4 min walk. Which we were fine to walk, but the reason is still baffling why they couldn’t go one street over.
