Wonderful day trip. - The trip with Kerim could not have been better. He was easy to communicate with before the trip and made sure that we saw everything that we hoped to see. I have visited several Mayan sites and these are spectacular, particularly the intricate carvings. the side trip to see the sunflowers was lovely.

A must see - Wow what a great trip Karim was such a great guide. Really took his time to make sure we had a great trip. The road is still under construction so the driving took much longer then expected but it was worth the drive for sure.

Wonderful experience in Honduras - Even though it is a long drive to and from the ruins, this was a terrific all day experience. The Copan ruins are amazing and we had time to make a few additional stops in the town of Copan Ruinas for a nice lunch, coffee, etc. Kerim is an amazing guide, with excellent communication prior to and during the trip. His driving was great, the van quite comfortable. He made sure we got a terrific, knowledable guide to take us through the ruins and did a great job planning the trip. I'd recommend to anyone with a spare day in SPS to book this trip.

Great experience and long live memories - Great day tour to Copán ruins. I had been there before but it was the first time for my daughter and we love everything of the tour. Kerim is an excellent tour guide, he is knowledgeable, responsible, respectful and he went above and beyond making sure we had a great time . He was on time to pick us up at the hotel. We had a great delicious breakfast and then we headed to the ruins, we made a stop to El puente which I had never visited before so it was a nice surprise, at the ruins we had a local amazing tour guide Cesar. We visited the museum and then the Copán ruins town. We did not feel rush at any time Kerim gave us our space and safely took us back to our hotel. I definitely recommend him if you want to have an excellent Copán ruins tour. Thank you Kerim from Sussy and Ángela.

Excellent experience - The Copan ruins are a wonderful place and are worth visiting with this tour. The service is excellent (cordiality, punctuality, vehicle comfort, recommendations, knowledge of the place and the guides, stops for food, etc.) The trip to the ruins is very pleasant, and it will be shorter when some remaining sections finish the new route. Both Kerim and the guide hired at the archaeological site provided me with a lot of information and enriching comments for the experience.

Amazing Day! - erim is an incredible guy and great ambassador for his country. The tour was a 10/10. I did the Copán ruins day trip from San Pedro Sula. I was the only person and I’m generally not too conversational but he kept me engaged the entire day, (5 hour drive each way). His English is great and he’s also able to provide great historical context on his country and all candid topics up to the present day. I learned heaps about Honduras. On the way back i was sleepy and he made sure to give me peace to rest. Kerim’s communication throughout the booking process was prompt and professional which eased any concerns i had about making such an ambitious trip with such short timeframe to work with. This far exceeded every other tour group i contacted on my one week journey. I would highly recommend Kerim as a guide. I could tell he was honorable through our 10 hours of conversation and any solo female travelers would feel comfortable and safe with him. We even worked out a deal for an airport transfer the next morning since i had an early flight and didn’t want to risk finding a taxi. Have no doubts, if you book a tour with icatracho tours you will have an amazing experience!

Was overcharged for being only one on tour - First, it’s advertised at $185, but I was penalized and charged $295 because no one else signed up for the tour on my chosen date. Then there was NO warning of the winding roads and conditions (I get massive motion sickness) & not prepared to feel like crap for the several hours it takes to get there & back. Had I known beforehand, I could’ve taken meds. Driver also acted like he was F1 racer which made it worse, seatbelt buckle wasn’t there for me to strap in for safety & the entire ride back it was also severely raining in which he never slowed down. So not only did I get motion sickness again, but also was concerned for my safety. The ruins were great, but I had to explore on my own or pay extra for a guide inside (which I didn’t do considering I already paid $110 more). I was never given the option to upgrade my ticket to enter the tunnels within the ruins. I didn’t get to go to Macaw park as stated in tour ad. I was taken to sunflower fields instead for about 20 minutes. I tipped “guide” after, but shouldn’t have after I found out the “tour company” is only him and he was the one that overcharged me to begin with. Solo travelers should not be penalized when they have no control over how many other people sign up for the day tour. They should pay the exact same amount as everyone else when they are receiving the exact same tour. This was definitely overpriced Uber ride to the ruins. More cost effective to rent a car yourself and have more freedom to see more in the day.
