- Lille Langebro - This bridge provides a connection across the harbor for pedestrians and cyclists. It is the latest in a series of new bridges in Copenhagen, part of the initiative to transform the historic merchant and navy harbor into a recreational area.
- Havnebadet Islands Brygge - The opening of the Harbour Bath in 2003 marked a significant shift in Copenhagen’s relationship with its harbor.
- The Tietgen Residence Hall - Designed to foster personal growth among its 400 residents, this building balances individual and community needs. It promotes social sustainability through shared common rooms. The rooms are compact and include a washroom, while living rooms, kitchens, and other amenities are shared among residents.
- DR Koncerthuset - This venue features a concert hall with 1,800 seats, home to the Royal Symphony Orchestra, along with several smaller stages and recording studios.
- Amager Fælled - Once used by the military for training and as a shooting range from the 1700s to the 1950s, it later became a landfill, a tradition on Amager that locals humorously refer to as “lorteøen” or “shit island.” Despite this history, Amager Fælled is now a rare example of relatively untouched nature in Copenhagen, largely situated on reclaimed land.
- Cykelslangen - Together with Bryggebroen, these bridges were the first new harbor crossings built exclusively for cyclists.
- Enghave Park - Constructed in the late 1920s on former allotment gardens, this park is designed in the neoclassical style and includes a bandstand, playground, and sports fields. It underwent a complete redesign between 2017 and 2019 to play a key role in managing torrential rains in Copenhagen.
- Folkehuset Absalon - A former church that has been transformed into a privately run community center.
- Meatpacking District, Copenhagen - The historic Kødbyen district was planned to improve sanitary and health conditions for the meat industry in a rapidly growing city. It expanded through various additions, showcasing the evolution of industrial architecture in the 19th and 20th centuries.
- Israel’s Square - Israels Plads, along with the nearby Torvehallerne, is a popular spot for food enthusiasts in Copenhagen. A farmer’s market existed here from the end of the city’s strict no-building policy in the 1890s until the 1950s, after which it became a large parking lot.
- Oerstedsparken - Ørsteds Park is an early example of adaptive reuse. Once part of the city’s defenses, it was transformed into a park after the city walls were demolished, retaining parts of the former moat as a lake with dramatic hills and winding paths.
- Copenhagen - The remaining time of the tour is spent cycling between these locations.
