Evening food tour with Katrina - We loved the evening food tour! Katrine was a pleasure. She is very knowledgeable about the food as well as the history and culture of the area. We had a full meal in addition to some small bites which is different than other food tours we had taken in the past. It was all great!

Best first day activity in Copenhagen - This food tour was the perfect introduction to Danish cuisine and Copenhagen quirk on our recent city break. We weren’t sure what to expect, but Marie was fanstastic and guided us through a wide variety of delicious food and around parts of the city, all the while telling us stories and sharing recommendations to help us better understand and make the most of our time. I loved how we were shown both traditional as well as ways chefs are pushing boundaries and updating classics with today’s palate in mind, like the fresh take on the truffle egg salad smorrebrod with a kombucha pairing (still dreaming of this and just bought myself truffle oil to try and replicate)! Thank you to the team and particularly to Marie for giving us the best possible introduction to a fantastic city and food scene, I would definitely seek your expertise and company for my next visit when it comes!

Food tour Copenhage - It was an intimate group and I purchased it as a gift for my husband. The final meal was great, and the restaurant superb. I loved the visit to the microbrewery. Our host was very engaging. I would have liked a bit more time in the food market as we had problems with finding the group so missed the visit to the cheese stall. Recommend.

Extremely limited menu - We generally appreciate tour but. We suppose to meet in more define place instead of desperately searching around. We made a restricted by minor items dinner and couples of mini open face sandwiches. Our expectations hadn’t been fulfilled by this limited menu.

A Completely Unprofessional experience - Horrible and unprofessional doesn’t come close to describing this NON tour/ meal that I paid for and the tour unprofessionally refused to make good on. I told the Food tour manager in a email we exchanged on April 29th at 9:12pm EST that I may a little late due to a connecting flight. Simon P. said “your Zleep hotel is a short 5 min train ride from the Olive restaurant where you can meet us. So last night Simon calls me at 5:46 pm Copenhagen time saying the tour guide is “waiting for me” at the food market. I said I will meet “the group” at the restaurant. He said “I am the ONLY ONE ON THE TOUR” I said are you kidding me? He said people cancelled weeks ago and he somehow thought an individual food tour was a smart idea. I said the MAIN PURPOSE of the tours is MEETING PEOPLE. I am infinitely perplexed how someone in his position does NOT understand that. It is about the experience, not really the food. I am a silent partner in a New York City tour company called Metrohike.com and if you have only ONE person left on a tour you should at the least TELL them or ask to try another day when you will have a group EXPERIENCE. Is the company that had up for $151.00? I guess so. I expressed my disappointment w Simon and he had the nerve to say people prefer private food tours and I told him he’s COMPLETELY WRONG. He said the tour guide wud meet me at the restaurant for dinner, I said (tongue in cheek) I might as well get a slice of pizza. I did NOT say i won’t meet the guide at the restaurant. So I meet her there, she said she is leaving because Simon makes yet ANOTHER MISTAKE of asking me if I was serious about the pizza comment and canceling, i wasn’t being literal. I met her, she said she was leaving, that Simon cancelled the dinner. Since I PAID I was going to have dinner by myself and make the most of it. The hostess called Simon and he unprofessionally told her he will not transfer the money I PAID for a GROUP TOUR and DINNER I “NEVER GOT” I called Simon back and he IMMATURELY hung up on me. What a COMPLETE “crap show” the WORST Travel experience I never had!! I can document and share the emails btwn Simon and me if you want. NEVER AGAIN,. You should pay me $302 for all the aggravation you put me through. Unbelievable!!
