Aga Forever - There is a lady named Aga working at Copenhagen Central Station. She is absolutely fantastic, professional, kind, helpful, and knows what she is doing. She was able to answer all my questions without hesitation. She gave me perfect advice on where to get off, where to use which transport, where to take the hop on hop off bus, so that I could see everything I wanted to see and have the best possible experience. Aga was my first contact when visiting Copenhagen and she made my entire stay incredibly pleasant and easy. Thank you!

A must do - The bus tour ate great and go to all the major attractions. I would recommend doing the boat tour too. One at night and one in the day. You can do it for free with a Copenhagen card. The boat guides are very knowledgeable and you can see the little mermaid from the back.

Tour of a great city - The hop on hop off tour in Copenhagen was very good. we stopped at all the relevant locations. The drivers were all very nice and answered your questions. The only thing I would recommend would be for the buses to run every 20 minutes instead of every 30 minutes.

Rainy Day option - In all the years of traveling, I’ve seen these buses in different countries and I’ve never had the desire to buy tickets until now. It was raining in Copenhagen in November which can be normal. I didn’t feel like walking around in the rain so we sat in the bus and learned something’s about the area and sights. We got off at Nyhavn and never got back in after our dunch which is why I gave it 4 stars. My only issue is that we had a hard time finding where the bus actually stopped when it is not in front of a popular attraction. There are three hop on and off buses in town so that adds to the confusion. If you have a hard time walk all over town or traveling with someone with a physical disability or a senior, it’s a great option! I do recommend staying on the bus for an entire cycle before you get off your stop though. Get your moneys Worth. Also it’s a great alternative to a rainy day if you don’t want to be cold and wet.

Underwhelming - Somewhat disappointing. Drove past many wonderful buildings without descriptions. few highlight buildings only. More of a description of how wonderful it is to live in Denmark! Twice timetable links weren't upheld ... buses left before others arrived [Canal boat trip was actually very good!!]

mixed bag - Basically good but very busy. we had to change buses and instructions were not at all clear. driver seemed very stand offish and not very helpful. The commentary kept cutting out. mine stopped working completely. boat trip was good.

Judgment not respected - The bus did not stop at Rosenborg stop n°9, while we were at the officially indicated stop. Estimated loss of one hour.

A very unpleasant experience - A very unpleasant thing happened. We boarded the bus first and sat in the two middle seats in the first row. Shortly after departure, the driver stopped the bus and went upstairs and ordered us to move. My wife asked him for explanations, but he shouted at her and, still shouting, told her to move to another place otherwise she would have to come down. My wife told him that the seats are unassigned, but he pushed her and she responded by telling him not to touch her. We were forced to accept what this “lord” imposed on us to end it. When I got off I reminded him that the seats were free, but he replied, in his usual impolite tone, that we would never go to any Hop Hoff again and he would inform his colleagues. Then he told me something interesting, that there are cameras at the top. So, if they want they can see that what I wrote is true. If you really want to take this bus, one piece of advice is to pay attention to where you sit!!!!

Very unpleasant experience - A very unpleasant thing happened. We got on the bus first, we sat in the two central seats in the front row. After the driver left he stopped the bus and got on and wanted us to move. My wife asked him for explanations, but he shouted at her and, shouting, told her to move to another place or she would have to get out. My wife told him that the seats are unassigned, but he pushed her and she replied telling him he shouldn't touch her. We were obliged to accept what this "gentleman" imposed on us to end it. When I got off I reminded him that the seats were free, but he replied that we would never go to any Hop Hoff again. Then he told me something interesting, that there are cameras that shoot. So, they can see that what I wrote corresponds to the truth. An advice, be careful were you will seat!!!!

Avoid the boat part of the tour! - We were in Copenhagen for 3 nights so decided to do a bus tour on Day 1. Pros: The buses were warm and clean. The audio was great too and we saw the Changing of the Guard which was unexpected. Cons: Some of the bus stops were not clearly signposted. We had to change buses at bus stop no 1. In the cold and wet this wasn’t pleasant. The boat was the WORST boat I have ever been on. Firstly you had to walk to a hut to meet the tour guide who then walked you back to the boat - he never even had a flag nor did he count who was going on the boat before he set off so we had to keep our eyes peeled and walk very fast… The boat was open, dirty, unheated and wet - it was raining and only 4 degrees - surely you postpone this leg of the tour? The audio guide was unenthusiastic and intermittent so we sailed for ages with no commentary. No safety announcements were made before we set off so no idea where the life jackets were in the event of an emergency The windows couldn’t close so the rain came through and the window seats were wet and couldn’t be used… The boat was old and didn’t feel safe Verdict: Avoid the boat part of the tour!
