Fun and Informative! - We learned a ton, and saw a lot of the city. We learned about the Copenhagen lifestyle, saw all the biggest sites, learned our way around the city, and got to enjoy the iconic smorrebrod. The tour guide was engaging and fun. Bring your walking shoes!

Can’t imagine a better way to start out - Excellent tour. Kim is an excellent tour guide who is extremely knowledgeable about Danish history, culture, and the city itself. He can give you great recommendations for just about anything you need in the city (currently writing this review from the tea house he showed us). Also going to some museums he pointed out later. There is a lot of walking, so be prepared for that. You’ll stop to eat a few times (food was really good), but you’ll definitely be ready to sit down to eat/drink at the end. Again, ask your guide for a recommendation before you go. Overall, great tour. Definitely try to do it early in your trip if you can. You’ll feel a lot more familiar with the city when you’re done. They also offer an option to do the first half of the tour only if 6-7 hours of walking is a bit much. Do yourself a favor with this tour.

The time we spent on this tour with our guide Oskar turned out to be the highlight of our trip and why we plan to return - Tour with Oskar was fantastic. This was our first time in Copenhagen and we wanted a very good overview of the city. We met up with a small group of 10 at the published meeting point to begin the day. The youngest in the group was about 30 and the oldest was us (74/70). The approximate 6 hour day walking through many of the significant historical parts of the city was fun and so well worth the time. The few times we stopped along the way for a snack made the comfortable pace even more fun. Oskar is a city native and is a university trained historian with a great sense of humor and spoke perfect English. He turned out to be an absolutely perfect guide for the day and made our 4 day stay in Copenhagen a joy since we spent part of our remaining time in the city revisiting a few spots we saw on the tour with him. I know we will revisit Copenhagen again in the future and I honestly can say that this tour with Oskar is responsible for our desire to return. I can not give him high enough praise and this tour company is very lucky to have him on their staff.

Very professional guide - Lovely tour guided by Oskar - a guide with a historical soul. He makes such tours more then worthy and makes you feel like a local. He is not just showing the sightseeing, but tells you stories about it, you might not find in the books.

Contented with Hygge Tour - This walking tour was a great way to see Copenhagen and experience what ‘hygge’ means—the cozy and contented mood that evokes conviviality. Our tour guide Alberte was very knowledgeable and personable. We walked 8 miles over the course of the day though at a moderate pace. We tried some ‘true’ danish pastry, treats and street food. We saw all the ‘must see’ sights, including the Little Mermaid, Hans Christian Anderson’s apartment, Rosenborg Castle and Gardens, Parliament, and Amelienborg Palace. Alberte provided background and context and answered questions. I highly recommend this tour as a great way to see and experience Copenhagen.

Knowledgeable Guide - Our guide, Therese, was very knowledgeable about the city, its history, and architecture! We stopped a couple of times for food, which was included, and we got to get a taste of the hygge lifestyle the Danish people enjoy. It was a great group and we had a good time exploring the city on foot (and metro)!

The guide Therese was outstanding - The tour was very well organised. The guide whose name is Therese was just outstanding: caring, knowledgeable, calm, enthusiastic etc. I am very much impressed how we have progressed through the city in 6 hours. We had a number of stops to try some small delights and drinks coffee/tea/juice. She made this tour extremely enjoyable and we learn quite a lot about Copenhagen. Thank you very much!
