A great experience - We were a large group on an organized trip and Luis was our Guide. He did his best to make us comfortable and enjoy the trip. He is a close and passionate person for his work, which was shown in his explanations of the culture and history of the city and Denmark. I recommend it.

Great ride - I had to do the visit on foot but a Tripadvisor error and the great flexibility and understanding of the service provider allowed me to have an excellent time. I recommend that you call or write directly to the service provider to avoid any unpleasant surprises. I am disappointed with Tripadvisor because it is the 2nd problem I encountered during this trip and although mistakes are allowed, it is annoying to run in all directions and waste time. It’s a shame because in general, everything goes very well when booking via Tripadvisor.

Good recovery and tour - We booked a group tour on the Scandinavian Guides website. There was a problem with the booking and we called/texted Luis. The group tour had been cancelled. He apologized for not advising us in advance but committed to find us an alternative in 30 minutes. He called and arranged for us to have a private guide, Jamie, meet us in 30 minutes. We met up with Jamie and had a great tour. Jamie was knowledgeable, friendly and had a good sense of humor. We saw people and places in the old town that we would have never seen on our own. Luis followed up several times to make sure we were satisfied. Luis was able to turn around a customer problem and skillfully made it a success. He took accountability and made it happen.

Disappointed -- Didn't Have a Local Guide - Our guide was very nice and accommodating to the needs of my mother who was in a wheel chair. We told her the things we wanted to see, and she tried to accommodate us. However, she was not native to Denmark, and this caused confusion and disappointment. She was very knowledgeable about the facts of the buildings and dates of history. However, she didn't know the insights that come from a local guide. She didn't speak Danish, so when we asked what something read on a billboard or sign, she had to look it up with a translation app. We could have done that. Quite disappointing. Perhaps the biggest disappointment was her lack of knowledge of The Church of Our Lady and Thorvaldsen's statues of the Christus and the Apostles. These statues were on our "must-see" list, and they were mentioned in the tour description. It was quite a distance for us to walk, especially pushing my mother in a wheel chair. Our guide dutifully led the way, but she wasn't quite certain how to get there from the location we were at because we deviated from the normal canned tour. We were there on a Sunday, and after the lengthy walk, we arrived to discover the Church wasn't open until after the tour was over. She should have known that. Also, she doubted that the Christus and Apostle statues were even there and suggested that they would be in a museum with Thorvaldsen's other works. Having been to Copenhagen before, I knew they were in the chapel. When we walked back after the tour was over, I had to reassure some of my group that the statues were definitely in the chapel, even though they weren't convinced because of the erroneous information from our tour guide. And yes, they were in the chapel. In the survey for this review, I said I would recommend this tour, because I believe the tour would be very good with a local guide. If you don't have a local guide, I would not recommend it.

Disappointed in this tour - There were very few memorable parts to this tour. I promote Viator to many people. I was disappointed in this tour. I would have preferred the guide, Vasco, to have introduced himself to me when I found him at the meeting place. There were 6 other people in our group, he did not have those in the group introduce themselves, which is a nice thing to do. The tour seemed very discombobulated. The guide seemed to be in a big hurry to get the tour finished. He walked very quickly and, left several of us catching up, while starting his speech before everyone caught up. I was disappointed in the over presentation of the tour. With a good map, a written dialogue, I could have done this on my own.

A bit disappointing - It seemed as though our guide had not done this tour before. While his commentary and direction during the tour was OK, he did not seem to have a broad sense of knowledge as there were some questions he was unable to answer. He had trouble accessing our Trivoli tickets, but eventually was able to retrieve them and get us checked in. He made no comment about Trivoli, he just got us checked in and that was that. Fortunately, I knew something about it and was able to educate the other couple, who knew absolutely nothing about it or what it was. Overall we were a bit disappointed, and felt that we did not get value for our money.
