Prepare for a day immersed in Viking ships and history. This is a truly unique experience at the Viking ship harbor, shipyard, and shipwrecks, complete with tastings of Viking food and insights into Viking history.

A professional museum guide will accompany you, providing insights into the Viking era, including society, raids, trade, and seafaring, all explained among the wrecks and in the shipyard with reconstructed Viking ships.

The tour features a “Taste of the Vikings” food experience. The museum café has crafted a buffet based on recipes and archaeological evidence, allowing you to sample food from the Viking era and, of course, the Viking brew, mjod (mjød).

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy the Viking ship launch, much like the Vikings themselves did, and take a leisurely stroll around the entire museum.
