I may repeat this every year! - This was an amazing trip! I may do it every year from now on. The organizers were very attentive to details, the boat’s crew were fantastic….especially the cook, I loved every thing he prepared! I was pleased to have a cabin to myself and enjoyed all the other passengers. We anchored in a different cove/beach every day to swim and relax, then to a different village each evening to explore and spend the night docked. I highly recommend this trip for solos and couples!

A Great way to see some cool Greek Islands with family or friends - Just finished the Sail in Greece Corfu trip. I went with a girlfriend - we shared a “superior bunk” which was bigger than some but not sure was truly superior . We did have 2 separate beds , one full size and one twin. They did give us a welcome basket with 2 bottles of wine as a gift for the superior upgrade . The crew was top notch. Very friendly and willing to help . Appreciated this very much. English was not their first language (neither was Greek) but after the welcome speech it barely mattered. The cook, Mohammed , did an excellent job. The food was mostly classic Greek and was delicious and plentiful . I got the drink package and although I didn’t get the max drinks allowed every day, I didn’t owe any cash in the end like the people did who did not get the drink package. But I may have “over-paid”. I prepaid for a kayak. It was inflatable and not good quality . I will say I used it a lot but was expecting something better . Also, They need more swim noodles and snorkel masks /snorkels on the boat! The boat (“Hera”) was kind of old and smelled really bad at times, mostly from diesel fumes . Someone on the trip found the smell so horrible in their bunk , they had to change bunks (luckily there was an empty one). This should be addressed . I loved the other passengers on the boat! A few of us knew each other beforehand. But most did not and we all had a blast. But if you get a bad group with complainers it would suck. I would not bring children on this itinerary. They’d be bored. However, I loved our daily schedule. After breakfast we “sailed” to a beautiful swim/kayak spot , then “sailed“ to our destination we would stay for the night. I put sail in quotes because the boat has NO USEABLE SAILS. They never intended to sail at all. Just so you know. No one, including me, on my boat cared, but if my husband had gone, he would’ve been pissed !! Isn’t it called “Sail Greece”?? Only one place we stopped was a disappointment - Plateria. It was a “ghost town “ in early October and nothing beautiful about it. I don’t think it was a scheduled stop. This contrasts Parga which was so beautiful and vibrant. Paxos was also great, albeit a bit slow given they are finishing up for the season. But still, plenty going on there. My favorite beach was Voutoumi Beach on Antipaxos. Wow, was that gorgeous! All in all, the trip was a great way to spend a week, make new friends, and explore a really nice part of Greece!! I’d do it again - tomorrow!!! I loved the oriole we met oAustralia

Corfu cruise on the Hera - Mohammad did a top notch job with the food. Ahmed ran about keeping the boat tidy. Rodos did a great job running the show, accommodating the passengers and keeping the boat running. The crew did a good job and we enjoyed the cruise. @sailingreece - The boat itself needs to be dry docked to fix a diesel leak that persisted through our trip.

Gulet hera - We sailed on the Gulet Hera on a swimming holiday with Swim Trek. 8 days of sailing aroung the Ionian islands. What an amazing experience!! The crew were fantastic and took care of our every need. The food was wonderful and our chef Mohammed produced mouthwatering dishes. Roudos the chief mate and organiser showed us some incredible areas to swim and was very knowledable about the area. Ahmed our main steward made sure we had everything we needed and Serefin our Captain guided us through the islands with great care. A remarkable trip...well done!!!

Awesome Corfu Cruise on M/S Eros - Just had a fantastic week on M/S Eros. Great company, fab atmosphere and awesome food. Captain Antoniadis Ioannis and his crew - Mido, Mahmoud and Rami were very welcoming and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Unfortunately the inclement weather meant we had to sail through a thunderstorm and come back to Corfu Town a day early, but the Captain made sure we got there safely.

Great trip, needs tweaks - I don’t often write reviews but Sail in Greece asked repeatedly at the end of our trip, so I’ll do so in hopes that their interest in feedback is sincere. I hope this will also help guide and manage the expectations of others considering the trip. I have some mixed feelings and find it difficult to assign an overall rating. On the Ionian Sea on the Hera, my wife and I, as well as some old and new friends, had a great time and will have wonderful memories for the rest of our lives. The crew took care of us well. Food was great. We couldn't have picked a better group of fellow passengers to spend time with. Most of the ports were exciting to explore. I'm glad I said "yes" and would have regretted missing out on this experience. However, there are a few points that Sail in Greece needs to work on before I'd recommend this cruise. - The diesel smell below deck. Some cabins were unbearable. Most cabins smelled most of the time. The smell was noticeable as soon as you went below deck. The crew at first pretended it wasn't there. Below deck was full of automatic air fresheners both in the hall and within the cabins. Everytime we stopped, there was an oil sheen beside the ship. We were told it would be fixed as soon as the ship was done for the season but other reviews pointed out this issue a year ago. You need to get this fixed, period. It's not just an obnoxious order but it could sicken people. Fix it! This is a serious issue. Sail in Greece should notify people here when the problem has been fixed and guarantee so with an offer double their money back if it isn’t. - a few times, guests had prepaid for excursions, port fees, etc. but the crew wasn't aware, requiring the guest to find a copy of the receipt. Some times this required showing a credit card or bank transaction because no invoice receipt had been provided. This shouldn’t be sorted out on the ship. Every guest should have received a full accounting of prepaid and due charges before they arrived. Some other suggestions to improve the experience. - For the $150 rental charge, we were expecting better than an inflatable kayak that was impossible to paddle in the wind. They at least were new, as the crew was assembling them when we arrived. The photos on the web site showed hardshell, seaworthy kayaks. - Snorkeling equipment was scant and in bad condition. I'd rather they recommended I bring my own. - More swim noodles, floats, etc for the water. - A way to dry wet clothes. We and a friend had to buy our own clothespins. Not a big deal. - A hand spool with a hook and a sinker is not "fishing equipment." Better to not promise anything. If guests can use rods on the boat, encourage them to rent and bring their own. -provide a sample agenda before guests book a trip. The downtime was fine with most of us but seems to be a disappointment to other reviewers. - Plataria was a dud - and I don't think it's just the time of year we stopped there. We found things to do in all the other ports. And some points for future travelers: - The boat didn't sail and couldn't sail. That was ok with us - but Sail in Greece should make this very clear to avoid disappointment. - This isn't a cruise for people with kids, limited physical abilities or looking for constant excitement. You'll be up and down stairs on the ship. You'll have a lot of time to rest, read, talk, drink. - In hindsight, I'd recommend going a la carte on drinks. The drink package may be a bit overgenerous - and drinks aren't that expensive. Plus you'll probably be imbibing in port.

Harmonia - Very disappointing in many ways. Quality of cabins which were all supposed to be ' superior,' paid £110 per head for this. Only 2 cabins had enough space. These were at the rear of the vessel. Forward the cabins smelt of diesel and were appallingly cramped. Very poor clealiness wise in the cabins. Food was excellent however
