Great Tour! - We were worried initially, as there are multiple meeting points in Corfu Port, but a quick telephone call resolved everything and they collected us from the ship. Our first visit was to a Kum Quat Liquor Factory and Shop where you had a free tasting and the option to purchase various goods. Then, onward to the Palace with an excellent commentary, plus any questions answered. We were given a good Palace Tour with great explanations and photo opportunities. Then, it was into the Old Town and some free time. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we would strongly recommend it!

Excelent Value - Guide was easy to find and tour started promptly. We had a small group which was a bonus. Guide was very informative and brought Empress Elizabeth to life. Excellent value and we were able to skip the shopping portion and walk back to the ship.

Don’t miss out on the optional boat tour, 12 euros - The boat ride which is nit included in the tour price was the highlight. So glad we did it, not sure walking around the town area during that would have been very memorable. The view from the restaurant was fabulous and the small bites and taste of wine held us till lunch.

Corfu History - The Achilleion Palace is located around 20 minutes south of Corfu Town and is a real piece of Corfu History. Built in 1887 for Kisser Wilhelm of Germany as a summer retreat. The palace architecture is a mix of central European and Greek with a large number of beautifuly decorated rooms. Outside in the surrounding grounds there are formal gardens that have a large number of statues that are a tribute to Achilles. From the gardens you will find a magneficent view of the surrounding country side and Corfu Town. Well worth a visit but allow yourself plenty of time to take it all in.

Corfu & Achilleion Palace - The story behind the Achilleion Palace was interesting & I thought our guide did a good job. The people running the palace weren't very helpful but we had a guide. Perhaps they didn't speak English. The little town was delightful but our guide made a mistake in not allowing us some serious time to spend there. We would have spent a lot more money in the town having lunch, trying the food & of course, buying souvenirs! We didn't even have time to go through the fort or really feel the culture & history. We were rushed back to the ship only to have several hours before leaving. So we had lunch on the ship & kept our money. The challenge is the little town is too far from the port to walk back & enjoy what we didn't have time to see.

Arubans in Corfu - Nice tour, too much bla bla bla and information you won't remember later on. The island had just been under a hurricane watch and was visible on the streets. Island is small so nos much place to visit and limited time as we were on a cruise.

Just ok - This was our second stop on a cruise. We had never been, so this tour was recommended. The palace was interesting and old town ws neat. The best part was our tour guide taking us to a restaurant that served local food and drinks. Tried the local beer and wine, both were good. Lunch was a whole fish we all shared, done very well. We also tried the fried feta. Very good.

Corfu and Archilleon Palace - What a dump. If I could give the palace and Corfu less than one star I would. The former home of Empress Elizabeth of Austria (Sisi) is nothing more than a tired old run down mansion with fabulous art work going to (further) ruin due to lack of funds and laziness. Lovely interior frescos crumbling from walls and ceilings not to mention the statue of archilles at the rear of the palace covered in mould just disgraceful
