New Fortress of Corfu - Our tour starts near the New Fortress of Corfu town, a Venetian fortress constructed on St. Mark’s hill in the early 16th century. The existing buildings within the fortress were erected by the British during their rule of the island (1815–63). The British and French later expanded the Venetian fortifications to defend against potential Ottoman attacks.

Corfu Museum of Asian Art - The Palace of St. Michael and St. George is a historic building in Corfu Town. Commissioned by Sir Thomas Maitland, it originally served as the residence of the British Lord High Commissioner of the Ionian Islands. Built between 1819 and 1824 in a neoclassical style, the building now houses the Museum of Asian Art, various temporary exhibitions of Greek painting, and student visual arts projects.

Notes: Visits to fortresses and museums or a Greek lunch can be arranged upon request and will take place after the tour. Tickets and guides for archaeological sites and museums are not included in the price. Transport by minivan to and from Corfu Town or Port can be arranged upon prior request for a maximum of 6 persons. For distances greater than 10 km from Corfu Town, there is a 10-15 euro supplement to cover fuel costs.
