- Paddywagon Day Tours - Check in at 7.30am with our friendly Paddywagon Staff at our Tourist Office located on Bridge Street. Ready for a 7.45am departure. We depart Cork and enjoy a scenic drive across the beautiful golden vale of Cork, to historic Limerick city. This city is the setting for blockbuster novel and movie Angela’s Ashes, and is also the home of the Munster rugby team.
- King John’s Castle - We will view and learn about King John’s Castle and the River Shannon. We continue via County Clare to the west coast of Ireland.
- Cliffs of Moher - We spend 1.5 hours at the Cliffs of Moher - one of the world’s greatest natural attractions. These cliffs stand 1/3 the size of the Empire State Building and have large populations of puffins and gannets. You can enjoy a hike or a relaxed walk, while gazing in amazement at this geological and natural beauty. The Cliffs of Moher also have shops and restaurants, anything from snacks and souvenirs available in plenty. Visitor charges at the Cliffs are included in the tour price saving you EUR 10.00. You will also receive a complimentary ticket to the award winning Atlantic Edge exhibition that examines all aspects of the mighty Cliffs of Moher.
- Doolin - We depart from the Cliffs of Moher for a stop in Doolin or Liscannor, tiny west of Ireland villages where you may wish to enjoy a delicious local lunch (optional), maybe a seafood chowder or lamb stew with a local craft beer (optional). There are options to suit all diets and tastes, including vegan. On the way we will have superb views of the Atlantic coast and the Aran Islands.
- Wild Atlantic Way - This afternoon we’ll round off the day by taking a spectacular drive along the coast as far as Black Head and romantic Galway Bay. This wonderful area is known as the Burren, a lunar landscape dating back 300 million years. Sit back, take in the scenery and imagine how the locals lived on this incredible land over the centuries.
- Bunratty Castle and Folk Park - We stop at Bunratty Castle, for a photo stop and a chance to grab a coffee and refresh yourself. You can easily imagine Norman knights, Gaelic warriors, and jousting chieftains at this hallowed spot.
- Paddywagon Tours Cork - We return to Cork after a fun filled day.

Most see and breath taking - A beautiful trip through the country side to the cliffs. An easy way to see the cliffs of moher and not have to drive.

Paddywagon Does it Again! - Fresh off the Paddywagon ‘Ring of Kerry’ tour yesterday, we just returned from the Cliffs of Moher day tour with Paul as our driver and guide today. These tours will never satisfy every single person because they’re always going to say there’s not enough time to stop, they felt too rushed, they didn’t like the food choices … whatever. For us though, we fully enjoyed the pace of the day, all of the stops, and all of Paul’s stories and information while journeying up to the Cliffs of Moher and back. We saw Limerick, Burren, and Bunratty Castle, to name a few. Of course, the absolute highlight was the Cliffs of Moher and we were lucky that it was mostly clear while we were there (it became heavily overcast right after we left). I would however like to warn anyone that is even remotely prone to motion sickness. This is a fast moving bus on extremely narrow, hilly, and windy roads. A couple of passengers were feeling fairly ill and were given bags in case they felt like they might vomit. I personally was not bothered but I could understand how others might be. We fully enjoyed our day and especially the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher! Thanks again to Paul and Paddywagon Tours!

Magic view at the edge of the world - Very beautiful views. Must seen in Ireland. Unfortunately, very short time, which is mentioned in tour description so wasn’t a surprise. This tour could be a bit better if skip other places and spend more time on the cliff.

A Mixed Bag: Disappointing Guide, Excellent Driver - I was quite disappointed with my recent tour. While the destinations themselves were interesting, the tour guide left a lot to be desired. Their knowledge of the locations seemed limited, and their explanations were often vague and unclear. I also found their use of dialect to be distracting and made it difficult to fully understand the information being presented.
Additionally, one of the planned stops was completely skipped, and the following stop was significantly extended, causing the tour to run behind schedule. This lack of organization was frustrating and detracted from the overall experience.
Overall, I felt that the tour guide could have been much more professional and informative. I would recommend that future travelers do their own research before booking this tour.
On a positive note, the driver was exceptional. Their skill and care made the journey comfortable and safe, even on the more challenging roads. Their professionalism was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing tour.

Not What We Expected - Our driver did not talk to us almost the entire trip from Cliffs of Moher back to our starting point... never pointed out the Wild Atlantic Way part of our trip. People were sleeping all the way back and missed it as there was no communication. The other Paddywagons personnel was asleep the entire time in the front seat. We never stopped in Doolin, which I had plans for lunch made, instead we were told to eat at the one restaurant that wasn't on our list to stop at. When we did stop he said you have 25 mins... people were waking up, getting coats on and bags ready as there was no warning we were stopping. Very disappointed in this trip!

Cliffs great, the rest of the day not so much - Cliffs of Moher are beautiful but we spent 90 minutes there in 10 hour day. Bus had no Wi-Fi, USB charging or working bathroom. Tour guide didn’t tell us much, whether about times of stops or facts about what we were seeing. No stop or information about The Burren or King John’s Castle on our drive through Limerick. No suggestion about how to make the best use of brief visit to Bunratty Castle. Very disappointed since previous tour to Giants Causeway, from Dublin, was excellent.
