Ask for Patrick! - We didn't know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. Patrick, our guide, was amazing! He was charming, funny, knowledgeable, and really knows the history of the town and Titanic. We enjoyed our walk around the city.

A walking tour that is worth your time - Interesting and informative tour of Cobh. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us about his past. We even saw some of his family along the way! Very cute little boy! We learned a lot about the Titanic, Cobh and its history and important people of the past. He had recommendations for local spots and eateries. Highly recommend this.

A great guide. Awful weather. - Our choice of a walking tour wasn’t the best idea on the day. It rained and rained and the wind blew. We got soaked and cold. If it wasn’t for our excellent guide Dennis; who’s personable nature, Irish charm and encyclopaedic knowledge which kept us going, we’d have dropped out mid way. We finished with a walk to the cathedral and view of the bay. Highly recommend.

Walking tour in Cobh - Most informative walking tour with Catherine. As we’d called ahead to say we were delayed in traffic, she waited for us to arrive. Thanks!

Preserving the past to enrich the future - Catherine provided her local experience to help reflect on the Titanic history and the memorials to the victims of the Titanic and the Lusitania. She loves to chat and share many insights. A nice addition was receiving the booklet by Michael Martin to compliment the Titanic Trail walking tour.

Excellent overview of this town! - We were in Cobh on a cruise stop and had booked this tour so we could have an overview of this small seaside town and its history regarding the Titanic and other historical happenings. The meeting point is very close to the port, so maybe a five minute walk to the Commodore hotel. Dennis was there and ready for us, we had approximately eight people in our group and we set about on a tour that was just a little over an hour in length. He is very passionate about his town and spent some time covering not only the Lusitania sinking of a passenger ship by a German U-boat torpedo in World War I, but also the fact that the city was the last stop the Titanic made to pick up passengers before their fated journey across the sea to the US. The tour ends up at the cathedral, which is also a passion of Dennis’ and he gives great history on the people who play the bells as well as the history of the bishop. It’s an absolutely stunning church. Highly recommend this tour if you wish to stay near the ship while you are on a cruise tour. Please note that the train station is right at the port so if you wish to go into cork, it is only a 24 minute train ride away. Easy to do this tour and a trip to Cork.

Nice, informative tour - We enjoyed the tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgable. She was a local so could talk not just about the Titanic/Lusitania but the town as well. We covered a lot of ground, and everything our guide discussed was interesting. We only wish we could've gone inside the Titanic Experience museum as part of the tour (though that would've been tough to do in an hour)!

Lots of Information & Standing Around, Little walking - The information given by our guide, Dr. Michael Martin was fascinating. There is so much information, so little walking, LOTS of time spent standing. This would be great for someone who didn't want to walk or had issues with mobility. We only walked within a 1-2 block area, from one side of the main street to the other. I would recommend the tour solely based on the information given.
