A Journey Through Time and Glass

As a museum curator with a passion for interactive exhibits, I am always on the lookout for experiences that blend education with entertainment. The Corning Museum of Glass, nestled in the picturesque Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, promised just that. My wife and I, along with our two children, embarked on a journey to explore the wonders of glassmaking.

While the Make Your Own Glass program was a bit of a letdown for our younger child, who was eager to participate more actively, the museum offered a range of other activities that kept her engaged. The fusion and sandblasting workshops provided hands-on experiences that were both fun and educational.
