- Tenorio Adventure Company & Travel Agency Guanacaste - Located near the Tenorio Volcano in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste region, the Tenorio River winds, churns and flows for 15 scenic miles before merging with the Corobicí River. As a tour member, you’ll float down this incredible river for four hours, passing through sections which are dominated by class III-IV white-water rapids.
Hold on tightly to your paddle as you plunge through the cataracts and are sprayed with water! During the smoother sections, take a look around at the lush, forested scenery and try to spot tropical birds perched high in the trees.
You will take a lunch break and later will be driven back to your hotel.

Fun filled day - My daughters in their 20s went on this rather than me, so writing it from their point of view. We booked through Tui. They had a fabulous day, the guide was very helpful and considerate. They were asked in advance if they minded falling out of the raft. Another lady on their shuttle bus was on crutches so she was put in to another boat so they could be treated differently. They had a fun-filled adrenaline packed day and said the scenery was lovely. Photos were taken by the guides which were expensive but purchases as no other ways of getting them.

Great Birthday Adventure - We did rafting for my friends birthday and we had such a great time. Jason was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and kind. We spent a lot of time on the water and the lunch was fantastic. Definitely recommend! Just bring bug spray!

Great Experience - My family and I had the most amazing time. Our guide was so funny and he had a great eye to see wildlife.. saw monkeys and a few other animals while on the trip. Highly recommend this company if you choose to go white water rafting!

Awesome day on the water - This is a great excursion. Jason was an amazing guide and so fun to spend the day with. The entire experience was well worth the money spent. We will definitely be back to do it again.

Great family experience! - We had a wonderful experience! Our guides, Mario, Luiz and Fernando were fantastic. They took very good care of us (including grandma - thanks Luiz!) making sure we had a good time and that we were safe. The rapids were nice since it rained earlier. The views were spectacular. Rafting the Tenorio river is highly recommended. This is the second time we used this company. We used them in June 2018 and Fernando was also our guide back then. It's good see you again Fernando. Mario, you are crazy (in a good way). We had a blast, thanks!

Great time on a beautiful river. - We loved the rafting trip down the Tenorio river today. We were picked up promptly at our condo in Potrero and driven the operations center/restaurant in Canas, where we joined a larger group and then took a bus to the entry road, where we got into a different bus/enclosed tram and went down a class IV dirt road to put-in.
Our guide Fernando was excellent, genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and skilled on the river.
We saw numerous animals including monkeys, an anteater, a toucan, an osprey and frogs (one of which we saw get eaten by a fish).
It was fun, exhilarating and well-run. A great experience, well worth the time and money.
Thanks again to out guide Fernando and our driver from Potrero, Jose. Thanks as well to the cook at the restaurant where they bring you back to eat. Good clean, health and filling food there. Muchisimas gracias a todo!

So much fun! - I loved this experience and I’m happy we went with this company over others. They provide humor safety and so much fun on the water. It’s only a 4 out of 5 because of the water levels. It was a great time regardless but I wish we had come before and after dry season. Water levels weren’t as high as they could have been
