Setting Sail on a Coron Adventure

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I found myself boarding a boat in Coron, ready to embark on the Coron Ultimate Tour. The promise of exploring Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon, CYC Beach, and Coral Garden had me buzzing with excitement. As a former professional surfer, the ocean has always been my playground, and the thought of diving into these pristine waters was irresistible.

The crew greeted us with warm smiles, their enthusiasm infectious. We set off, the boat cutting through the crystal-clear waters, the salty breeze a familiar friend. Our first stop was Kayangan Lake, renowned for its breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters. The climb to the lake was a bit of a workout, but the panoramic view from the top was worth every step. The blue-green lagoon below was a sight to behold, and I couldn’t wait to dive in.

Immersed in Nature’s Beauty

Kayangan Lake was everything I had imagined and more. The mix of fresh and saltwater created a unique swimming experience, and the underwater rock formations were a marvel. I spent as much time as I could exploring the depths, the tranquility of the lake a soothing balm to the soul.

Next, we headed to the Twin Lagoon, a place that promised adventure. The two lagoons, separated by a limestone wall, offered a choice: swim through an underwater tunnel or climb a ladder over the rock. Naturally, I chose the tunnel, the thrill of the unknown calling to me. The water temperature shifted dramatically as I swam, a fascinating phenomenon that added to the allure of the place.

Our journey continued to CYC Beach, a stretch of pristine white sand and clear, shallow waters. It was the perfect spot for snorkeling, and I was eager to see what lay beneath the surface. The marine life was vibrant and diverse, a kaleidoscope of colors that danced in the sunlight. It was a reminder of why I fell in love with the ocean in the first place.

A Feast for the Senses

Reflecting on the experience, I realized that while the tour wasn’t exactly what I had booked, it was a day well spent.
