Betancuria - Enjoy some free time… Stroll around and soak in the charm of the old village. Visit the Santa Maria Cathedral (ticket 2€), if open, take a coffee break, or go shopping!
Free time for everyone! - Pozo Negro - Visit the local “goats” and have the chance to buy fresh local cheese at the goat farm.
- Puerto del Rosario - Drive through the young capital (established in 1862), passing through the center and along Fuerteventura’s main port. Enjoy a photo stop at the port and the lovely Playa Chica beach.

La Oliva - Located in the island’s north, it includes the islet of Lobos within its municipal area, making it the second-largest municipality in the Canary Islands and the second most populated on the island, after Puerto del Rosario.
It served as the island capital from 1834, replacing Betancuria, until the capital moved to Puerto del Rosario in 1860. - Molino de Tefia - The agricultural prison colony of Tefía was a concentration camp during the Franco dictatorship, situated in the village of Tefía, part of the municipality of Puerto del Rosario.
It operated from 1954 to 1966, incarcerating ordinary and political prisoners, and re-educating male homosexuals.
This is also where the first airport (1930) was located, welcoming the first tourists.
