Super Timanfaya experience - Super organised tour from Fuerteventura to Lanzarote, with stunning drive through the Timanfaya vulcan park. Everything was perfect. Please keep in mind that if you want to visit the Timanfaya parc, this is the best way. The queue with the cars was kilometres long, waiting for hours and with your car you can't drive in the park, between the vulcans.

At least it's worth skipping the ques. - It was OK, and I am glad we did it. It was kind of cool doing a day trip to Lanzerote from Fuerteventura. Our guide was very informative. But it was rushed at each stop. Not enough time to really enjoy each location. Our stop at the green volcano pool was only 15 minutes, not enough time to make the walk to see the pool. Our tour was supposed to end at 6:30 PM, but it ended at 4:30 PM. My guess for the reason, is that during winter it get dark early and it will be too difficult for the bus driver to drive these roads at night. Good job for the bus drivers, the roads around the volcano are very dangerous.

Spectacular the Timanfaya - The part of the visit to Timanfaya Natural Park is spectacular. The rest is a bit to know the area, although perhaps they could look for a better place for food or where there was an opportunity to choose between several restaurants. Better than stopping at a lonely roadside restaurant for a locality like Lake Verde. But make it clear that the visit is worth it and that the guide that we have had everything very controlled and very well. His name was Snow.

Great Value For Money - We went on this trip yesterday. We walked to the marina to catch the ferry. Picked up our wristbands from the rep there.
On arrival in Lanzarote we were separated onto coaches depending on language.
The coach was comfortable and had air con!
First stop was supposed to be Timanfaya, but as it was so busy we diverted to the wine tasting location. This is NOT a wine tasting excursion and as such you get to sample a small glass of white wine or sweet wine….that is all. Really interesting to hear the tour guide talk about the vines and how they grow them in the volcanic soil.
The tour then went on to Timanfaya and we got to see the heat, how they cook using the natural heat from a volcano that last erupted 200 years ago! This was really good, my only disappointment was that we had no free time to explore, take pictures and visit the shop. Then back on the bus for a tour through the national park…this was fabulous. It’s a protected area so you cannot leave the coach, but there were several stops at points of interest to take pictures and the commentary was really informative.
The stop at the Aloe Vera musuem was a waste of time in my opinion. Definitely not a museum, but the cafe next door served nice wine and other drinks. You can have a buffet lunch there as well. I would have preferred to have had more time at Timanfaya than visit here as it was just a sales pitch for the Aloe Vera shop.
The green lake was fab! So beautiful and again the commentary was great. I learned so much during this trip. It was relaxing and very enjoyable! The ferry crossing alone costs about €30 return so this is great value for money and you beat the queues at the volcano! My advice would be to take your own snacks/food and at the Aloe Vera ‘museum’ skip this and enjoy extra time having a glass of beer or wine in the cafe!

Ups and downs: A tour between impressive nature and disappointing sales events - Pros: The tour through the national park was really interesting. You get a comprehensive impression of the impressive volcanic landscape and see a lot.
Cons: The Aloe Vera Museum is not really a real exhibition, but rather a sales event where a few alibi stands were set up to call it a “museum”.
The wine tasting was also disappointing: It was more of a sales event. You only got a tiny glass (about 1 cl) of the cheapest wine. On the positive side, however, the view at this place was really nice.

A bit boring but if you like tours then it would be good - The volcano and driving around the fire mountains was the best part of this trip however when you have a tour guide having to speak multiple different languages for everyone, you start to get a bit of a headache.
We also got to go to the salt lakes which were empty…… a wine shop where we did wine tasting where if you’re a wine drinker, it was good but we don’t drink wine and we also went to a green lake which was overrun with visitors.
We only did half a day and defo would’ve been fed up if it was a full day.

Tourism or shopping? - First stop aloe vera shop, second wine shop... I hired the tour to meet. The place where we stop to eat The countryside, poor quality food. The volcano and the green lagoon are normal

A Race Against Time with Bad Guide - A race against time. The only part of the tour that is worth the payment of the required amount, is the visit to the Timanfaya park, too bad that the stop lasts just long enough to pee, so you have to choose: look at the park or go to the bathroom. The Italian Guide, Daniela, speaks so fast that it seems to be a university lesson, if you can take home two words out of 10 you are lucky, as well as practically absent empathy.
The aloe museum is not a museum but a shop. If there is a museum there is no visit and the explanation about aloe can be summed up in : aloe is good for everything ... without any explanation about the origin and link of the plant with the island. Wine tasting cannot be defined as such: everyone in line for a drink of something alcoholic on which no one deigns to give explanations.
The green lake is worth seeing just to realize how much it was not worth it.
