We set out from the fourth pier at Puerto Colón, embarking on a journey in pursuit of cetaceans. Our voyage takes us into the Teno-Rasca special conservation territory, as far as three miles offshore where the water depths reach one thousand meters. We are in search of the tropical Calderón, a primary resident species of Tenerife. From the moment we start moving along the coastline, there are opportunities to spot dolphins, turtles, and seabirds right away. If fortunate, we might also spot some migratory cetaceans that visit the Canary Islands. We maintain a respectful distance as we observe, photograph, and film these creatures. Our crew takes pleasure in providing explanations and sharing the knowledge we possess about the cetaceans found aboard our vessel.
