There's No Sub for Travel Sub ! Es Mejor - A major priority on my bucket list before I reached 60 was to scuba dive. My family encouraged me to undertake a PADI open water course and my eldest son had just passed his whilst in Thailand. That was the inspiration I needed, but where should I do it? I used to live in Tenerife and often go to Tenerife for my holidays. I knew of I diving school in Puerto Colon, so I contacted them. That was the best decision I have made for a while. All the arrangements were made for me before I flew out from the UK. The team are so professional and treat you with great compassion as they can sense you are nervous. After an introduction from my instructor Oscar we did our first dives in the shallow water just off the beach. Then the next couple of days doing dives locally. I finished my last three dives with Julia. She is a great instructor, very thorough and has lots of patience. Her attitude and professionalism in an activity she loves really shines through. She wanted me to pass nearly as much as I did. All the team at Travel Sub were so friendly and treated me as a celeb. I am so glad I chose Travel Sub and would recommend anyone to dive with them. Suffice to say my family are happy and relieved that I passed my Open Water thanks to the Travel Sub team. Thanks so much Cliff

Amazing team ! - I just finished this course and can't be happier with the experience. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Borja, my instructor was very knowledgeable, patient and professional, and he managed at the same time to keep it light-hearted. The 2 trainees/helpers, Ale and Max were very good as well, helping us when we needed assistance. The dives were amazing, we saw many rays, lots of colourful fish and octopuses. The equipment was adequate and if there was any fault with it it was quickly replaced. The dive centre is very busy with many returning customers, which is not a surprise, as the entire team really makes you feel welcomed and are very helpful all the way. Truly fantastic experience. Thanks guys again ! I loved every minute of my course !

Enthusiastic diving instructors pass on their knowledge and are super encouraging and emotional. You can only feel good - It was simply great. The diving instructors take time for everyone, I can only recommend them, they speak different languages and answer every question, no matter how often you ask them. They want to make sure that you have trust and don't force you to do anything. The diving school is highly recommended because they are responsive to people and on several dives they try to do something new or just enjoy it. In any case, they are worth your money and the experience and the whole experience!!!!

Highlight of my holiday. Made me fall in love with scuba diving and gave me unforgettable memories. - TL:DR - Brilliant Diving Center with very experienced and friendly staff who made me feel like part of their team. Definitely recommend trying them out, they will make you feel very safe and confident. You will fall in love with diving and be coming back for more. I don't usually write reviews, but this place is worth it. I was going to some water sport activities after booking them I had some free time before they start and I'm glad I found this diving center next door as I always wanted to try diving but had some questions about it. Upon aproaching front desk outside diving center I was greeted with really nice man Paolo. After short discussion he invited me to have a chat with reception staff where I met very informative and helpful lady named Elena. I had some concerns about not being able to equalize my ears when free diving, but she assured me that it's common when free diving and that when scuba diving I will have more time to equalize. She reassured me that it's gonna be fine, even suggested that she can book me 1 to 1 session with instructor which isn't common with diving centers as people usually go in groups of 2 or 3.Elena never put any pressure on me to book Try dive, she suggested that I go do my activities and think about it. After I've finished with my water sport activities I decided to give it a go. Elena once had a slot for next day and I took it. Next day after arriving I was greeted by Elena and others, It was really friendly and relaxed environment and I felt welcome. After informative explanations and instruction from very experienced diving instructor named Guglielmo (sorry if i got it spelled wrong :D ) I felt that I'm in safe hands. Short trip by the boat to diving spot was really fun, got to meet likeminded people and to chat with other members of staff. Diving experience was brilliant, had no issues with equalizing my ears just like Elena said. It was easier when scuba diving and Guglielmo was patient and took his time with me, no rushing whatsoever. We explored the ocean saw huge variety of sea life it was stunning under water. I really loved what I saw and after the Try Dive on the way back I chatted with Frank and how can I progress in diving world so I don't have to do Try Dive every time. He explained me all kinds of different options and talked me through various types of diving etc. When we got back to diving center I had more discussions with Elena about prices and various options to continue my newly found hobby. There was another Diving instructor Matteo who I had a chat alongside Elena and he explained me how awesome diving with Open Water diving licence is and that doing mini course isn't best option if I want to keep on diving and go deeper after some more questions I was conviced, but didn't feel any pressure to go for Open Water Diver course .So I decided to book it anyway since it stays with you for rest of your life. Elena had space for course on next day and send me some homework to do before first lesson. Next morning I was greeted with smiles of staff and my Diving Instructor Matteo who was very professional and patient throught my Open water course and we got along very well I felt like learning from and diving with good friend and not Diving instructor. He explained me everything very clearly and thoroughly answered all my questions gave me many tips how to improve. It was highlight of my trip and memories I made along the way that I will never forget. It was best desicion I made to try diving with this center and would recommend it to anyone that want to try diving. Paolo, Elena, Guglielmo, Matteo, Frank, Fabi and Max you made my holiday! Thank you guys for making me feel part of your small family. I will see you next year !

Can't wait to come back again! - This is such a nice and friendly place! The staff is both professional and makes a big deal out of getting to know the divers as well. The diving locations are not to be underestimatet and are only a nice boat trip away. This experience was topping of my expectations, and I am definitely coming back again! Hope it is the same staff, you do a great job!

Good instructor crazy busy dive location - Area the club use for the dive was super crowded and the experience was ruined for my son because he spent only a few minutes getting used to very choppy water and surrounding chaos. It states 30 minutes snorkelling prior to dive , we had barely 5 and my son was quite apprehensive owing to swell and so much activity. He needed more time to acclimatise. we were told after a few minutes in the water ‘your first’ . I tried to calm him, but I could see he was panicking a bit , as he was fiddling with his regulator (mouth piece) a lot. then all of a sudden a large group of kayaks were suddenly on top of us and it was pandemonium. Our instructor was very nice but there was so much going on around my son that he couldn’t focus and was worried about the kayaks hitting him and when we went under the combination of the swell and the stupid kayak group had him panicking and he had to get out . I went down myself whilst my son sat in the boat and my time was brief , barely 20 mins of the promised 25/30. It was a great experience for me but my son was super sad and he felt if he had a bit more time snorkelling and there weren’t a load of people in kayaks crashing into the boat , that he would’ve been able to dive . He was gutted to be honest . Watching the two ladies after us being prepared to dive whilst 15 odd kayaks were directly on top of them too , was a total joke really , and looked completely ridiculous and amateur. Both the ladies couldn’t cope and had to get out , so not a great experience for them either. The skipper of the boat said the kayaks get drawn off course by the currents everyday and that they were a pain in the ass. Which begs the question that maybe finding a better location and perhaps more sheltered for beginners would be a good idea . We went at 11.30 so maybe avoid that time as it should be kayak free . As I mentioned our Italian instructor was a lovely guy , but overall experience in water wasn’t great . If you have young teenage children it may be best to find an operator that specialises in providing a calmer environment and no surface chaos .
